Kaneis thought very little of the mutiny. Sure, he had no love for the Initiative. They've done a lot of things to make him neither trust or like them. But that didn't mean he would be any ally to the mutineers, not in the least. After all, there wasn't any guarantee they wouldn't be just as bad in power. And so, he chooses the easy way and picks no sides.
It's easy enough for him to do, what with the clinic remaining neutral. It didn't matter to them all that much who was in charge after all: both sides bleed the same way.
Still, this sure was dragging on, and he was getting pretty sick that they were still caught in the middle of everything. Sick, and bored enough that he'll actually speak up to the neat-freak boss when he hears him mutter something.
