He covers his mouth, yawning softly. He didn't get a nap this afternoon, and the lack of sleep was well-evident in the dark circles and bags under his eyes.
"How do you take your tea? Any preference to flavor? I generally drink it black, with sugar, but..." Tarellia, and there was a slight stab in his heart to remember her, again. "...it's been said I add too much sugar."
She was his sister, though for their years apart, she may as well have been his daughter. After the undead siege, he was the only one left to care for her, though she was nearly an adult by then. His parents had both been well into their years when she was born- though only a handful of centuries separated them from Kirian- and he had helped to raise her.
And, in truth, he missed her. He cared for her, deeply, as one must for their only remaining family, he thought.
