Date & Time: Anytime after the 1st, sorry for the edit.
Location: The cafeteria!
Characters: Sheena (
holeseeker), open to all!
Summary: Sheena's making Actual Food. Your character might be interested.
Warnings: N/A
[Sheena is no stranger to the kitchen, though after being gone for a couple weeks she's had to acclimate herself to being on the moon base again. The kitchen here is smaller and the selection of supplies is smaller still. But things have been getting better, albeit slowly, and her own supply runs helped her get a hand on some stuff she might not get elsewhere.
She's pleased. It's been a while since she made anything resembling her favorite dish, but chicken curry over rice is fairly easy, fairly standard, and looking fairly delicious. She doesn't have any pineapple or tofu to add, unfortunately, but that can wait until they make things right again-- or until she goes home, whichever comes first.
She serves herself a bowl and leaves the rest on the counter with more dishes, in case someone wants to serve themselves. For now, though, she sits on a bench. The cafeteria sure looks like it took a beating in her absence; she lets her attention drift as she begins to eat.]

He figures if they have to have the loss of a heart in common, at least they can have the return of one in common as well.
Lifting his eyes to her, Lea frowns worriedly.
"So... you'll be all right too then, right?" he asks, extending one hand toward hers, hovering over the covered spot where the Exsphere is, before pulling back like he's not sure if he's allowed to touch it. It feels like a petty, selfish question to ask after all that, but really it's the only thing he cares about at the moment. Everything else aside, the idea that Sheena might be dying makes the muscles behind his ribs seize up painfully.

He might not be entirely convinced, so she smiles. "Thanks for the concern. Sometimes I... I forgot that normal people don't do what we do."

"That's good," he says, shaking his head. He's lost enough people, thanks very much. He waves one hand. "Eh, normal's overrated," he says. "I say do what you gotta do, but..."
His voice trails off. 'Not if it's gonna kill you,' he would have concluded, except... that's what had been happening to Roxas and Xion. They couldn't both have survived, could they?
He can't think about this right now. Schooling his expression back into a smile, Lea folds his arms across the back of the chair again.
"In any case, I'm glad it ain't gonna hurt you," he says, and sighs softly. "Oh, also... it's, ah... it's Lea now." He rubs the back of his neck. "Axel was the name I was given when I became a gangster." He manages a wry grin. "I don't really wanna be a gangster anymore, so better memorize my real name, okay?"
no subject
The gangster comparison works very well for this conversation. "I didn't realize you'd changed your name, too," she says mildly, trying to smile and lighten the mood a bit. It's hard to do after that depressing-as-hell conversation, but she's trying. "Lea. I'll remember it. Sorry if me calling you Axel brought back any bad memories."

If he hadn't lost his heart, he never would have met Roxas or Xion. He never would have had the experiences he did. Sure, plenty of them were bad, but... can you really quantify the things that shape who you become? Were it not for the Organization, he might never have become Axel, might never have done what he'd done... but who would he be now?
