its been cold for years
Date & Time: December 5th
Location: West Wing, Mutiny-Lockdown Station
Characters: Nathan Drake and Chloe Frazer
Summary: Much needed talking.
Warnings: uh.
[It's taken Nate a few days to sort out guard rotation -- when someone is hanging near Chloe's door and when they are elsewhere. Today, Nate has opted to wait until the guard is called to keep post for a visitation before approaching the cell -- he makes his approach obvious enough so not to call suspicion, and casual enough not to invite interest of eyes and ears for more than a few seconds.
Even still, Nate loses track of himself standing outside the door. He hasn't stalled on purpose -- its just the natural way of things. Even after having a few days to regenerate his levels of sanity, he's not ready for this. He's not ready to talk about...well, anything.
He thinks for a moment that he should leave. That he should tell Charlie they wouldn't let him near her. There was no way to sneak inside, and they didn't know him enough to let him see her outside of that room.]
Chloe?
[But he knows what its like to have his trust betrayed by now, and he won't stoop to it if he can help it. Nobody could say he didn't try, like this. His voice is low in volume, but it comes with a small tap from his boot against the door.]
