There's a flicker of - something in Steph's expression at the mention of Peter and Isaac, especially when she remembers quite clearly the discussion of hands being removed. She might have been frustrated by both Isaac and Peter during all that, but they're still hers, which means she has to fight down a surge of protectiveness. Peter wouldn't want her to get into an argument about it, and Saul doesn't need her snapping at anyone.

"Not publically, but I kept up," The kettle heating up is welcome distraction, and she pours warm-but-not-boiling water into a mug for Kanaya, before putting the kettle back on so it can actually boil for Steph's tea. She manages to keep her expression neutral as she offers the mug to Kanaya, "Not really sure what it has to do with the DITR."

That's a lie, but she's curious to hear Kanaya's explanation.
