[ Bariyan stopped trying to get away, finally resigning himself to conversation. ]

I didn't. Well-- I waited it out. It went away, over time. It was not a pleasant time.

[ He only sounds uncomfortable, not angry or accusatory. He doesn't have it in him to be angry now. Besides, it'd been a honest mistake. He can't be angry about that, not so many days after the fact. ]
