Date & Time: December 30th, afternoon-ish
Location: Shelke's room
Characters: Rise Kujikawa (
therealrisette) and Shelke Rui (
shelkethetransparent)
Summary: Rise gets bored and lonely, so she pesters Shelke while the poor girl is trying to work.
Warnings: None yet!
Rise had been a lot of places in the past couple of months... Hawaii, New York, even 16th-century Japan. And every time she came back, the moon base seemed just a little bit smaller.
She could just visit the planet again, she supposes, but the island has changed so much. She never really feels safe going down there all by herself. It wasn't long ago she couldn't wait to get off the moon, but now... she's just a little cautious about rushing down to a world that's become completely unfamiliar again.
So for now, she just wanders the halls of the base, dressed in one of the most sickeningly sweet dresses that her 'sister' may or may not have bought her on one of their shopping trips. Another reason she refuses to live down on the planet again... she doesn't have enough winter clothes yet. For now, she's content to make short trips down when she gets too sick of the moon and hasn't been on a mission in a while.
Eventually, she comes across a familiar room in the south residential wing. Curious, she approaches the door and knocks.
"Shelke-chan? Are you home...?"

"Shelke-chan? Are you home...?"

When the knock happened, she was honestly startled for a moment, staring at the door as if uncertain what it had meant. People did not visit her, as a general rule. But then she heard Rise's voice. Ah...right.
"Yes. The door is open."
no subject
"Um... are you busy? I can go if you want to be alone..."
She really doesn't sound like she wants to leave. Right now, she's lonely enough that it doesn't matter what Shelke's doing, she'd just like the company.

After a second though, she shook her head, her attention returning to the terminal as she unscrewed another screw.
"It's fine. I am just parting this out."

As the other girl turns her attention to the terminal again, Rise finds herself following along, glancing over Shelke's work curiously.
"'Parting it out'...?"
Pacing nearer to Shelke, but still keeping a safe distance from the strange device, Rise takes a seat on the floor herself. Spreading out her skirt to keep it from bunching up, and folding her hands in her lap, she peers just a teensy bit closer as Shelke continues working.

"Yes. I need the parts for something else."
When the other leaned close, Shelke shifted the tablet a bit so Rise could see inside, though it was just bunch of circuitry.]
no subject
"What do you need the parts for?"
