[Annie's expression remains unchanged.] Do you need a moment to rest?
[She is wondering what is causing him to hesitate. Back in training camp, there had always been eyes on them when they trained—both during and outside of group hand-to-hand training (though usually during training, most everyone else was focusing on going through the motions and putting forth as little effort as possible). She doesn't have an issue with it. She rolls her shoulders and lifts her fists to either side of her face, feet apart and knees bent ever so slightly.
Annie never moves first. She only watches and waits.
Eren's initial jab is customary and expected. Usually it was the only thing it took for her to throw him, but nowadays it usually took a few more maneuvers for her to get to a position where she could either trip, fall, or throw him. She's (somewhat pleasantly) surprised to see that he's shaken it up a little bit, although it's easy enough for her to read and move out of the way of. This is the place where Eren falls short—she hasn't taught him yet that, when it comes to hand-to-hand, footwork is just as important as kicks and punches. It only takes a few steps for her to get into a position where she can force him to the ground by tripping him up.
For now, however, she decides to be neutral and wait to see if he's made any other leaps of invention. If not, she'll wrap this up.]
