They'll start feeling it at sundown. I know it doesn't give you a lot of room to change, but- [He shrugs.] I can make Peter give you an empty room to do it there if we want to go early.

Normally I'd be all for putting a few doors between me and an oncoming shitshow, but nah, nothing for it. Might distract them for a couple minutes, anyway.

I wouldn't say parade, exactly. But my options seem to be public nudity and being on the other side of a door when one or more of your friends freak out, sans opposable thumbs.

[And Isaac has straight run out of fucks to give because what the fuck Peter's gonna strip naked in front of his pack, A+ way to introduce himself to Erica and Peter, the former of whom is most likely going to go supercrazy and attempt to violently murder them all while Scott- who has met Peter but doesn't yet know of his nudist tendencies- will try not to be freaked out by the transformation while trying to keep a lid on his own shift so he doesn't pull Isaac with them and result in a packwide murderous rampage across the town.

[peter shrugs. after a certain point, a shitshow is a shitshow, and peter considers momentary nudity a pretty small aspect of how ridiculous things are probably going to get. the way isaac says that he doesn't care makes peter certain both that he cares quite a bit and that peter has no idea why he cares so much. but there are probably more important things to worry about.

I don't like depending on him so much, but- if he orchestrates it so we all get set loose or anything like that, there's no win for him. He's not the kind of guy who comes out and brawls, so it's not like he's looking to get us in one place to do that either.

It'd be pretty goddamn stupid for him to start shit like that a week after showing up. No way he has the lay of the land yet. And he's too creepy to be stupid.

[He nods.]

That's what I'm banking on. As long as we don't act like we owe him anything afterward... we don't really have another option.

Won't be hard, it's only in his favor to keep Scott from going batshit and finding an abandoned building isn't exactly rocket science.
