run, boy, run - this world is not meant for you ( CLOSED )

Date & Time: January… sometime…
Location: Ruins of Windsor Castle Robocastle
Characters: Rodimus & Galvatron
Summary: Rodimus and Galvatron meet face to face for the first time after one of them tried to destroy Cybertron, according to Rodimus. OR giant robots acting like five year olds.
Warnings: Varying degrees of robot violence maybe?!

If there's one thing Rodimus is begrudgingly willing to admit to himself regarding Nova's desire for a new and better residence, it's that he enjoys the fact he no longer has to stay in his alt-mode. As soon as he clears the frozen riverbank, back from town, he transforms - determined to walk the mile or so back to the castle. What's a few six foot snowdrifts to a robot that's twenty feet tall? Absolutely nothing.

He's nearly back when there's a flash of purple out of the corner of his eye ( for a brief moment he thinks of Cyclonus ) and suddenly he knows everything has just taken a sudden, awful turn for the worse. Nova was bad enough, but Galvatron? Absolutely not. Not after what happened the last time he crossed paths with Nova's second in command.

Sure, Cyberton might have been a barely alive crumbling planet-wide disaster, but it was home. Now it didn't even look like anything he remembered, and part of that was absolutely Galvatron's fault.

He's got enough sense to raise both his arms - tips of the exhaust pipes glowing red-hot - before doing anything else.

Which is yelling at the other 'bot, because he's not going to be taken by surprise.

"Galvatron!"

He has got this.
