( closed ) so this is me inviting you to come out from hiding
Date & Time: 01/27?; afternoonish
Location: seviilia's newly built home :')
Characters: ms brightwing (
miscreant) & some other dumbass (
oversleeps)
Summary: one of these characters is literally too stupid to live
Warnings:
[ walking a day's worth of journey is one of those things that always seems like a much better idea before you start. marduk has slipped out of the city without so much as a word to anyone, of course, intent on following seviilia's admittedly vague directions. he carries his sword for the first time in-- weeks, actually. that's an odd thought; a month ago, he would've rather died then let it leave his side.
how things change. he finds her home easily enough, or what he assumes to be hers. there couldn't be that many people willing to live so far from the city in the desolate wasteland, could there? no, surely not.
marduk's agitation has been building the whole trip, and as he steps up to the door it only worsens. his sword appears in his hand without so much as a thought, and as he feels the swordbond's enchantments settle into place around him he relaxes-- not much, but enough to knock, knock by slamming the pommel of his blade into the door once. twice. three times, for good measure.
as he waits for her to answer, he is well aware of the fact that he is incredibly fucking dumb. he is smart enough to be patient here, at least. ]
