[ and all of it ultimately worthless. he sounds pleased with himself regardless, muffled though he is. cheating is real goddamn fun. he realizes then that vanadi has yet to join him on the bed; marduk shifts the pillow enough to be able to peer at him, his concerned frown remaining hidden. ]
