Larsa seemed reluctant and Ico leaned in when he bowed his head. It was as if he expected him to share a secret. When Larsa admitted his status, Ico’s eyes went even bigger. He never imagined Larsa was an emperor. If his mother saw the way he was behaving in front of someone so important, he would never hear the end of it. He could almost hear her voice now.

Ico got down on one knee and he lowered his head until his horns were parallel to the ground.
