As part of a centuries old clan of spirit mediums, death having a flavor that wasn't final doesn't throw her terrible off her game. (If she had one.) It's that way Balder has of speaking so matter of factly, believing in his own words, that really gives her pause.

She wasn't even sure how that'd work. Although... Mia resolved that she would look into the casual mention that all ailments could be cured, even the most permanent ones, for the Transports. Something about that paired with Balder's casual admission makes her uneasy.
