Isaac had already ordered by that time and was waiting for his food by the time Scott arrived- and even though he knew rationally that he wouldn't just not show up, Isaac couldn't help but to breathe a little sigh of relief when Scott finally did.
"It's fine. I already ordered- she'll be back around in a minute, I think."
He didn't particularly want to launch into a conversation as soon as Scott got here- his shoulders were a little tense, the wolf in his mind bristling away from the scent of the other wolf, the one who had defeated him before. But Isaac forced that down, forced himself to think of a way to start the conversation, forced- anything he could think of.
