[there are muffled, barefoot steps to the door and a silence, as Martin is sure to check before opening the door. because...safety first? so Bariyan doesn't worry about letting in strange people.

it's not a long silence, though, because even if he can only see just a bit of him through the peephole, Martin knows who it is and pushes the door open right away, smiling big up at him.]
