The dubious reaction was understandable and honestly, he wasn't entirely sure how to answer that question. He was pretty new too, but with the monsters gone there hadn't been that much to do. He had no idea how long that would last though, but he trusted Vanadi's judgement on it. He seemed to have been around much longer. He replaces the tablet with the blackboard again.

I'm new as well, but I think the people here could use something like this to keep their spirits up.
