Alcohol and Murder
Who: Ionae, Takegami. Anyone who might be hanging out at a bar can also reply to the first part
What: Ionae tells drunken stories of her mysterious past, then gets in trouble.
Where: An establishment within the city that sells intoxicating beverages
When: Late at night
Warnings: Alcohol and Murder
Ionae got another drink from the bartender before going back to her story. This one was blue and bubbly and it had a paper umbrella and crazy straw in it. Most of the bar was doing their best to ignore her, and those that weren't were finding her rambling tale difficult to follow. It seemed to be a tale of how Ionae the demon queen had conquered much of a place called The Counterplanes.
"Soo around then, Anamama...Amam...Anamalech! Anamalech finally stopped cowering behind the council, and all those bloodworms I had bribded him with paid off. Finally. The spineless bastard."
She stopped for a moment to organize the next part in her mind.
"Anyways at that point, it was total chaos. Every Matrijati for themselves, like it SHOULD be. I held back until they tired themselves out, then stepped in and showed them my true power. I was crowned as queen before the council's cronies knew what was going on! Ah, those were the days. Total power over almost the whole of the Counterplanes."
Her story complete, Ionae took a sip of her drink. "Damn and hellfire that's sweet. I don't think I can drink this. Who wants it?"

As fun as reminiscing about the past was, eventually Ionae decided that enough was enough, and it was time to go home while she could still walk in a more or less straight line. The night air was bracingly cold, and the shock of it as she stepped out the front door helped her clear her mind a bit. She adjusted her cloak, then set off in the careful stride of one who knows she is not entirely sober but wishes to appear like they are.
