Location: One of the VR Rooms
Characters: ANYONE AND EVERYONE!!!! Everyone who wants to share information in a group setting and anyone who wants to hear said information.
Summary: Kido made a post thinking they should share information face-to-face since it's easier for some people. Anyone with a device would have gotten a meeting notice with the promise of a transcript if they can't make it. Sharing information about their situation with new arrivals, trying to decide on a course of action, all that jazz.

Encouraged: Anyone with firsthand accounts of the rescue mission, of being held hostage by them, of any discoveries made like about Project Chimera, of older UE plots that would be helpful to know, anyone who wants to try to take charge, etc.

[Since it's supposed to be a meeting, Kido tried to pick out something good for the VR room. Maybe something soothing would be productive? Something they haven't gotten to see in a while to inspire them to move forward: green earth.

The meeting takes place in a forest clearing. Light filters in between the leaves, swaying in a slight breeze. There are even wildflowers growing along the edges. Over the tops of the tall trees, mountains can be seen.

But for the purpose of the meeting, chairs and stools are assembled as well as a few small, round tables in case anyone wants to take notes and brainstorm together (or eat snacks).

Either way, once it's set up, Kido sits herself down. She doesn't have much to share personally but she'll chime in with what little she has.]

[It was almost kind of ironic to her how she had said that medicine wasn't something that she was going to pursue again, and yet in this kind of situation where a need for people with knowledge of medicine were in need, she couldn't bring herself to ignore it.

So you'll have Joan darting back and forth between the 'Medics & Healing' sign as well as the 'Training' sign answering whatever questions she can and generally being a friendly PR type person. She had already said that she was more than willing to help out with some training- it was always good to know some basic first aid than none at all, right?]

[ piper's standing somewhere between both of the signs. she's someone who has taken for granted having an in-house and a literally on-call healer on hand. and now that she's without leo, she's going to have to start learning how to heal her own wounds without a bright, glowing light. ]

Hey. [ she hopes to catch joan's attention. she seems to know what she's doing (it must be the good hair that gives off that impression) as she flutters from both signs. ] Sorry. You look like you know where up is. [ she gives her a smile and dives head first into it because this woman is very well capable of saying piper has the very wrong person, please go to the woman with bad hair over there. ] First Aid training. Am I hot or cold?

Joan is quick to give her a welcoming smile and after handing off one more quick pamphlet to a passer by she approaches the woman who called her over.]

Since we're standing under this sign [She motions to the one cheekily sliding over to where the sign is posted.] I'd say hot. How can I help you?

Right. [ signs can be deceiving, joan! piper's had many signs given to her, once upon a time; where phoebe and her had thought the signs they were being sent were to help piper sort out her love life, it really was to show them where prue was being held … ]

[ maybe her and phoebe shouldn't be allowed to read signs unsupervised. ]

Considering this place isn't exactly the walk on the moon that I had imagined, I was wondering if I could sign myself up for some first aid or whatever you've got going on here classes. I know how to stick a bandaid on and even bandage things, but I know there's more to it than that.

If only sticking on a bandage was the cure all to end all.

[Life would be a lot easier to be honest but then again, there wouldn't be the need for medical practitioners either so. An encouraging smile is already on Joan's lips and she grabs one of the clipboards sitting pretty on the table that already has a handful of names on there.]

You've come to the right place though. We've got some basic first aid which also throws in some CPR, really standard things. Of course if you're looking for something more specific, we might be able to arrange that.

I just want to be of use. [ she pauses. she really wishes she had chosen a better weapon. going off of her already existing power base prior to coming into this hell hole, piper should've thought with her head and not with what was familiar and less scary for her. but she continues to have a smile on her face. ] My weapon here isn't exactly the most useful when it comes to helping people … outside of being destructive.

[He peers at her for a moment, pulling the Tootsie Pop from his mouth and waving it slightly as he speaks.]

I've not had one of these before. Quite interesting.

[He pops it back in his mouth, lollipop making his cheek bulge. His words are slightly less precise that normal when he speaks.]

I brought forms for you. When you train someone, put their name down in this...binder. So we can keep a record.

[Oh right, hello you. Joan recognizes him around from all the planning so it's enough for a little recognition to show in her eyes.

She understands easily enough, it's like she's versed with garbled words, and she gives him an appreciate smile before taking the forms.]

You didn't have to but thank you, I appreciate that. [And then a point at the Tootsie Pop in his mouth.] I think the last time I had one of those was when I was a kid.

And then, he nods, thinking.]

Joan, wasn't it? Er...Watson. Joan Watson? I must not spend very much time with the charts from you...ah, that's right. Your paperwork is often complete.

[And almost teasingly:]

I thought those were for the patients and people walking by.

[To be fair, she hadn't worked in the pediatrics ward very often, but she knew more than several of her coworkers who had walked around with their pockets filled with candy to hand out to the kids.

She gives him a small smile before it dissolves into a bit of a laugh.]

I know how life gets a lot easier when paperwork is in on time. And you're Kirian, right? [She shifts the forms before extending a hand.] It's nice to finally meet you.

[He shrugs at her teasing, rolling the lollipop to his other cheek.

He pauses, nodding, and holds out his right hand. That's what humans did, right?]

I am. Kirian Dawningsun...I spend most of my nights going over charts and treatment records. I haven't had much of an excuse to bother the clinicians if things are in order.

Then I'll take it as a good thing that we haven't run into each other before.

[She tilts her head to the side after withdrawing her hand.]

I didn't realize that there was only one person going through those charts though. It must be a big job.

You'll find that I am quite possibly the only one in the clinic who prefers paperwork to much else. My sister would call me far too tedious.

[A slight smile.]

It keeps me busy.

Anyone ever try and get you to do theirs? [She's teasing of course but it was certainly something that had happened to her in the past.]

And I guess that's one way to occupy yourself.

[He chuckles softly.]

I may as well be doing some of them, for the amount of information that is missing, sometimes.

I am also a tailor, by trade, and can enchant items...though I don't have much in the way of materials for either here on this moon.

We're getting a bigger response than we thought we would which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

[And then she gives her a smile as she holds out a bowl of nearby candy that had migrated down to the table she was stationed at.]

'Medical mumbo jumob'? [Joan can't help but look amused at it being referred to like that as she takes the bowl back.] It couldn't hurt to know a bit of first aid, don't you think?

( Wandering over, clipboard still in hand, fingers flexing to his palm as he does his utmost not to fidget. He is the tensest person but trying so hard to not... be a hopeless introvert and flee. And be able to talk. And... God he should probably have some nice soothing tea, or something. He can feel himself slipping back into slouching and reminds himself to straighten up, trying to loosen up the curl of his shoulders. )

Not at all, it's the least I can do. And if anyone should be saying thanks, it should be me. [She motions to the tables and all of the people that have wandered there.]

I don't think half of it could have been put together if it weren't for you.

Donny hesitates, gnawing his lip and gaze dropping as he shrugs, right hand rubbing his neck. )
