[OPEN; @ the observatory][It's probably in the later hours of the day (it's hard to tell without clocks, isn't it, the way the sky is always starry and dark, but it's probably still before nighttime), if you're in the observatory, that the red-jacketed kid who's been walking restlessly in and out of the room, crossing the observatory and disappearing for a few minutes before reappearing again, a book or his tablet in his hand staring at words he's probably not reading, finally trips over his own shoelace or doesn't realize you're there and walks -- quickly -- right into you. Hopefully he doesn't knock you over, but he definitely loses his balance and stumbles, tripping over his own feet this time and falling right on his butt. Everything he was holding clatters as they hit the ground too, and it looks like he finally snaps into focus at that!
And he stares and he opens his mouth as if he's going to apologize because he totally bumped into you. But he opens his mouth, no sounds come out, and instead he blinks once and then the tears are falling, tears that he tries to cover up almost immediately, finally finding his voice.]Sorry-- I-- are you okay? I'm sorry--
[kinda open!; @ east wing unit 137 (shintaro's apartment, nighttime!)][Shintaro is quiet. He's usually quiet when he's not bickering with the girls, but today's quiet is more somber and less bored, the sort of quiet where he sits on the couch and stares at his tablet like he's waiting for a phone call that'll never come. Again. It's frustratingly reminiscent, and after about ten minutes of this he tosses it aside and drops his head in his hands, sighing almost angrily. At least where Momo and Ene can see, he's trying his best to maintain his calm, but he thinks he's going to go mad or at least revert back to being a shut-in if he stays here like this. He leaves the tablet but gets to his feet, crossing the apartment, looking into every room until he can spot either of the girls and make sure they're there.
He pauses before he speaks up.] Hey, I... I think I'm going to go take a walk.
