Summary: New Transports arrive and are shuffled into the Observatory for the show of the year. Initial briefings are very brief this time around, and that Greeter just won't stop crying.

Location: In front of housing
Characters: Sokka and Asami Sato
Summary: Sokka and Asami work on an enginer together; talk about their lives
Warnings: Some moping, maybe

Sokka had settled in to his new apartment (shared, naturally, with his sister and Zuko) and now that things were starting to feel marginally back to normal, he was diving back into his projects. An old engine he'd dug out of a scrap-yard had been meticulously man-handled back to the housing building and put up on blocks underneath an improvised awning to keep the rain off. Now he has elbow deep in it, happily working on trying to get it back in working order. Maybe one day he'd even put it on a vehicle.

He turns his head to look at Asami. "Caaaan you hand me the three-quarter inch wrench? I wanna get in here and make sure the connection rod is in one piece." He smiles, trying to keep in good spirits. Asami seems a bit down since she'd gotten back from her mission (and Bolin had left on his), so he wants to keep her mind off that kind of thing. Maybe this helps? He's not sure.

"Thanks for helping me out, by the way."

Date & Time: Mid-afternoon Sunday, May 5th
Location: The Hold and Housing Complex
Characters: All who wish to be in the vicinity!
Summary: The Initiative asked for the Housing Complex to be evacuated starting early morning on 5/5, in preparation for the expected landing of the spaceship stolen from the United Earth. The landing goes horribly wrong when an undiscovered bomb detonates onboard the ship, causing partial engine failure. The ship proceeds to be crash landed into the Housing Complex; no lives, however, are lost.

Warnings: Spaceship crash landings it's all horrible!

Summary: Katara's missing her parka and decides that she wants to try to make her own. Sokka is along for the ride.
