Summary: Getting ready to leave

Spending a week in a clinic wasn't Muraki's ideal way to spend acclimating to a new world. The saying that doctor's made the worst patients was no less true with him, but he kept most of his exasperation with the situation to himself. It at least gave him time to learn a little more about where he'd landed himself. The network, intriguing a tool as it was, provided an excellent tool to investigate the basics of his situation, but to really understand this place he needed to get out of the clinic and get a real look around. He was chafing in place already. He needed a cigarette, clean clothes, and the opportunity to take a little of the absurdly abundant energy that was surrounding him without causing any alarm. For now, the best he could do was sit here in bed and read while he waited for someone to give him a pass. At least for another day.

Summary: Hisoka's not having a good night's sleep, now that Muraki has arrived.

Summary: Mahdi's back from a year away in hir world, and hir powers are going a bit nuts. Touching hir skin-to-skin or eat food ze offers you and you'll receive a shed memory and may experience an onslaught of unexpectedly dissonant emotions. Please direct any questions about how this works to the OOC post!
Warnings: Implications of murder, violence, violence toward animals, grief, and implied physical and sexual abuse. Angst. Some sexual talk.

Please specify if you would prefer not to have a memory dealing with any of the subjects mentioned. All of these things are implied rather than referred to in a direct, graphic manner, but I have many memories in my pool that don't contain any of these things. I'll be determining who gets what memory via RNG, but will skip over anything that contains a subject you don't want!


[After a day of tromping about in the snow, trying to make sense of this place - it was a year, a whole year since Mahdi left, and yet only a few days in Exsilium. Ze's pretty sure hir entire face chaps the moment ze goes outside. No wonder everyone just uses the tunnels.

But Mahdi is more claustrophobic than ever. Even if the air burns hir lungs with its ice, it's better than feeling confined. Still, hir little walk is once again curtailed, and ze stops in the Initiative building to warm up. Pulling hir hands from from hir gloves, ze blows on them, rubbing them together. She gives a rather kittenish sneeze, and sets hir duffel on the ground.]

Summary: Discussing the mutiny and star/Earth gazing. Also Hisoka basically curling up in a ball and wanting everyone to stop getting so worked up over this with his empathy.

Summary: Space Zombies are allowed out of the Agriculture Wing, slowly revving up their systems to try and infect and absorb as many of the Transports (or 12 Initiative Members) as possible.

Summary: New Transports arrive and are shuffled into the Observatory for the show of the year. Initial briefings are very brief this time around, and that Greeter just won't stop crying.

Summary: Separation Awareness Day is a festival and time of celebration for the hard won and retained freedoms of those who live on the island of Exsilium. Separate from the United Earth, they continue to exist, and thrive in their own way. As those identified as teenagers and children are showered with gifts of sweets, foods, and toys from the adult population, merchants are selling on the streets and color had invaded the often grey atmosphere. Feasting is practically a law, singing can be heard in the streets, and instruments that may stay safely indoors most the year are brought out to encourage dancing and such other frivolities as are rarely seen.

The night of the 14th there are fireworks shows throughout the city, with the most impressive display being launched from the remains of Buckingham Palace.

Date & Time: 20th Jan
Location: Around the Hold, outside
Characters: Hisoka Kurosaki (aged down to about five or so.) and Open.
Summary: Hisoka is affected by the aging, and appears to be much younger all of a sudden. And wondering what the heck is going on.
Warnings: Nothing too major, beyond that because he is younger and his empathy is just showing, he won't have as much control over it, so he may well pick up on what your character is thinking/feeling unintentionally. This is increased with physical contact as well. He has a post about it in his journal, for those who are curious.
