Who: Fenris and Alisha Bailey, Hisoka Kurosaki and Merill.
What: Kidnapping and cutting ties!
When: Morning of the 9th
Where: Around Exsilium
Rating: Uhhh let's go with -13 for now, possibly more for violence.
[The mind control on Fenris had gone well. After all, it had happened to him before, to a fashion. All that was needed was to write over the groundwork Danarius had already left in his mind. And so, the elf was heading out, doing the bidding of a master without truly knowing it]
[Alisha Bailey]
[Fenris enjoyed the dark alleyways of the city regardless, they reminded him of Kirkwall, in their own way, and so he found himself wandering there, eyes searching the shadows, trying to locate his target]
[Hisoka Kurosaki]
[After that, he'd moved on again, to find yet another target. He'd travelled from the alleys to the main public areas of Exsilium itself, always searching. Fenris knew he would find him eventually. Danarius had trained him well in that regard]
[Merrill]
[Now all there was to do was cut ties, to stop the one person he KNEW would be foolish enough to come after him, to try and prevent the plan from gaining fruition. So, Fenris head back to his room, pulling open the closet she's been hiding herself in, his face a scowl]
Merrill.

Merrill.

Oh, it's just Fenris. Well, who else would it be? He doesn't often use her name, though, so something important must be going on. ]
What, what is it? Was I reading out loud again?
no subject
I will be leaving for a while. I expect you to remain here.
[Can't hurt to try the direct approach first right?]
no subject
[ Merrill stands, careful not to knock over the few candles she has lit in the enclosed space. He expects her to stay here? How rude. ]
Where are you going?
no subject
Why must you ask questions? It does not concern you. I am just leaving the city. Alone. [And with people he kidnapped, but details]
no subject
Alone? But I thought you were supposed to go on missions with other people, at least for your first one! Why don't I go with you? I'd like to see...
no subject
I wish to have nothing to do with you. You are to stay here, out of the way.
no subject
[ SERIOUSLY HOW DARE HE. Ah he's being kind of scary right now. Anyone should be nervous when Fenris is touching them unkindly, that just means they're using their brain. She had also nearly knocked over her candle.
Merrill doesn't try to smack his hand away (might just hurt herself on a spike), instead resorting to a very startled flinch. She isn't the violent one here, but he would be foolish to think she can't defend herself, either. ]
Unhand me, Fenris, your grip hurts! [ And his words hurt more. Why do they still? ] If you don't want me to come, then I won't.
[ Okay she's lying, because he got a little too mad a little too fast, even for him. Maybe not lying that well on the fly, but can he tell? ]
no subject
I do not believe you.
no subject
She dares you to draw blood, Fenris. Dares you. ]
I have never lied to you!
[ Except this time but you're acting weird bro. ]
no subject
[He's not drawn blood yet, but his grip tightens a touch more] Do you understand?
no subject
How could you say such a thing?! What could be so important that it's worth killing me over?
no subject
I said, do you understand?

He's always hated her so much, the idea of mind control just doesn't occur to her quickly enough. So she just reacts at the pain of being betrayed first, showing little mercy when it comes to showing Fenris what a mistake he was making. She has to act quick, anyway, if she doesn't want her own heart ripped out, doesn't she? She's watched him do it.
The glow she suddenly sports is as red as blood, the blood he foolishly let free. Spells she can use on others, she can use on herself, and the blood that drips down his hand boils just as the tell-tale red and white-hot cracks begin to show all along her body, lighting up the small closet even more as if she might just explode herself, but instead there's a pull, a rip, and a black miasma springs about Fenris's form just as the jagged lines along her flash. She's using him to heal herself, to weaken him and strengthen her, yelling right as she aims a fist for the only unprotected spot on him — his face. ]
Let Fen'Harel take you, then!

He clearly wasn't expecting the punch, and his weakened state makes him stumble back, slamming into the door of the closest and into his room proper. He growls, the lyrium flickering as he brushes a trail of blood from his nose. Well, that sure made her want to NOT follow him. Job done, right?]
Good. Stay here, I do not wish to see your face again.
[And with that, the lyrium fades, and he starts towards the door]

Well, is it Fenris or isn't it? Sometimes Merrill feels like she doesn't know him at all; she only knows his anger, and the occasional grudging acknowledgment. But she remembers how he had acted a her arrival. They are the only ones from Hawke's group, the only ones to represent him. They were to stick together if they were to succeed in conquering however they may in this foreign world.
He would never do this. ]
F—Fe—
[ Merrill thinks to call to him, but then stops herself short as she remains standing at the closet's entryway. He is acting like he's being controlled. Like someone else is using blood magic on him. It gets her blood boiling in a different way, and she stays silent. Because a such a powerful slave on a mission would just fight her to the death. She couldn't enslave him without becoming worse than whatever person or demon had corrupted him, and now she feels more the guilt for stealing his life force.
If she follows, he'll kill her, and then she won't be able to help him. She needs to tell someone, but she can't just tell everyone. Fenris is a serious danger to those unprepared, but maybe those from Thedas would have a better idea of how to proceed. Elissa was supposed to be the Warden that stopped the Blight...in another Thedas. She can think of nobody else to go to, and at this moment she would rather be alone in company than alone in shadow. ]

He knows physically he is far from the strongest fighter, as small and skinny as he is. And without a traditional weapon. But he would still at least try to defend himself, not wanting to cause his partner to come rescue him again. It's dark and he isn't sure anyone else around is out this late though, even in a public area.]

The elf isn't someone he recognizes, but that is by far the biggest problem here. He's still a bit away yet from home, and can't see that there is anyone else around the immediate vicinity either this late. He's weaponless, except for his empathy. Which probably won't do much good in defending himself right now.]
Who are you? What are you doing?
[Could he be someone sent from the United Earth, perhaps? Hisoka doesn't know. All he knows is that something seems very wrong here.]
no subject
You are to come with me.
no subject
And if I don't? I assume that's what the sword is for.
no subject
I would rather this be done without bloodshed.
no subject
I'm sure you would. But I have no intention of going anywhere with you. I've never even met or talked to you before.
no subject
You would be wise to come with me willingly. This is the final opportunity that I am willing to give you.
no subject
[Since. He's still not sure he likes the implications of this. At all. It's almost more than he can take to try and deal with the fear mingled with the stubborn determination and defiance as he thinks of his partner Tsuzuki fretting about him if he does get kidnapped.]

[The question was, would Hisoka let him? Manage an escape once they got wherever, or along the way? Such would be more beneficial if he wasn't injured in attempt to stop the kidnapping. On the other hand, it isn't like Hisoka to not put up some sort of fight or resistance. He's weighing his options, noting the sword and his own lack of a traditional weapon.
In the end, he responds with the only 'weapon' he has: his empathy. Lashing out at Fenris, he throws his defiance, his stubbornness and refusal at Fenris. Hisoka knows it is likely futile an attempt, but he feels he has to try. For Tsuzuki's sake.]

He's not expecting too much of a reprieve, to get too far, but he has to at least try.]
no subject
He can't allow escape. That is unaaceptable]
no subject
You ever expect anyone to go quietly?
no subject
[Fenris turns his sword around, attempting to smack Hisoka in the face with the hilt, to try and put him out of this little game]

[ she's heading towards one of the cafes within exsilium this morning for a nice breakfast. she's going alone, not inviting rudy, because she's not quite sure if she should. he remembers a time that she has yet to live — and he looks at her so funny sometimes that she's not quite sure how to properly take it. so, she goes, by herself, which is quite possibly not a good choice at all. ]
[ this time, she intends not to become too wrapped up in her communicator — but old habits don't die as fast this time around. she's typing and erasing a text to rudy as she walks, shaking her head and muttering fuck as she tries to word this message as properly as she can. ]

Hey!
[ she tries to jump back, but alisha's never quite had the best of timing for this. she frowns, hand tight on her device, but her eyes slip over to the glowing markings on his skin. ]
[ alisha's finger accidentally presses send on the message she had been thoughtfully composing to rudy. unfortunately, the contents would only anger him, rather than turn him into a detective. ]

His grip tightens somewhat]
Come with me willingly, and I will not harm you.

[ her heart is beating rapidly in her chest, but she tries, with all of her might, to keep a strong face on. ]
no subject
[He'll start wandering off down the alley, dragging her along with him]
It would be best if you were silent.
no subject
[ she sounds panicked: ] Why are you doing this?
