Location: One of the VR Rooms
Characters: ANYONE AND EVERYONE!!!! Everyone who wants to share information in a group setting and anyone who wants to hear said information.
Summary: Kido made a post thinking they should share information face-to-face since it's easier for some people. Anyone with a device would have gotten a meeting notice with the promise of a transcript if they can't make it. Sharing information about their situation with new arrivals, trying to decide on a course of action, all that jazz.

Encouraged: Anyone with firsthand accounts of the rescue mission, of being held hostage by them, of any discoveries made like about Project Chimera, of older UE plots that would be helpful to know, anyone who wants to try to take charge, etc.

Mingle, make your own threads, go for it.

[Since it's supposed to be a meeting, Kido tried to pick out something good for the VR room. Maybe something soothing would be productive? Something they haven't gotten to see in a while to inspire them to move forward: green earth.

The meeting takes place in a forest clearing. Light filters in between the leaves, swaying in a slight breeze. There are even wildflowers growing along the edges. Over the tops of the tall trees, mountains can be seen.

But for the purpose of the meeting, chairs and stools are assembled as well as a few small, round tables in case anyone wants to take notes and brainstorm together (or eat snacks).

Either way, once it's set up, Kido sits herself down. She doesn't have much to share personally but she'll chime in with what little she has.]

[Kaneis sits at the table, with a stack of papers in front of him, that seem to be blank medical information forms and a bowl full of tootsie roll pops. Though what seems to be more noticeable is the sign in front of him that reads:]

SAVE TIME AND AWKWARD SITUATIONS BY FILLING OUT

[The form itself is a pretty standard medical information form you fill out at doctor offices (history, blood type, medications, etc) just with more sections that seem to have stuff about species and magic information. ]

[As for Kaneis himself, he seems to alternate between listening to what's going on with the town meeting, talking to whoever approaches, and reading a book from under the table. ]

[... Well, she came for the tootsie pops, but the forms catch her eye as she goes to grab one -- she remembers Shintaro saying something or another about doctors. It'd be a good precaution to take if she did end up sick. ... Which was likely, honestly.

So she does. Name is Elaine, blood type AB, a couple of vitamins listed under medications, etc. ... then she gets to history and species and magic information.]

... Pardon me. Would I be permitted to write on the back of this form as well?

[He'll look up when the girl speaks to him. He gives a shrug and a slight smile because hey, cute girl]

Ah, all right! Thank you very much!

[She's watched the people here long enough to figure out how to mimic the different kinds of smiles they make without it looking absolutely horrifying so, trying to be friendly (???????????), she offers the same smile back.

And then fills out the rest quickly and neatly, even if it takes her all of the designated space on the front and most of the back. A laundry list of illnesses she's almost died from and conditions like anemia and asthma and a generally poor immune system, a note about how her blood oxidises sort of funny, it gets all black and tarlike after a while?, oh but it's okay she's immortal now.

Then she sets it down and takes her pop.]

In an ideal situation, of course, I shall refrain from falling ill at all, but I do feel that it is rather important to take the necessary precautions to maintain my health in such a situation!

[Fenris only understands the words 'magic' and 'mages', and that's enough to make him scowl. He'll just be leaning over to tap the sign]

[And there's Kirian, making his way through the crowd, leaning on his cane but walking swiftly. Drifting behind him, a stack of papers.

He peers down at Kaneis, and the forms that were following him drift and settle in a neat stack on the table.]

Ah, there you are. Enjoying yourself?

[oh, it's him. The man that made him have this stupid task to begin with. All because of some sloppy med charts! How lame.]

[But he'll force a completely insincere]

Oh I'm having the time of my life. What's up, sir?

Please, no need to call me "sir". I've still a few centuries in me, yet.

[Which is what he says when he isn't playing up the old man act. He and Jade should probably team up for that.

He gestures with a gloved hand, as if pulling something from the air, and a sheet of thick paper materializes on his hand. He holds it out, the paper tan and the words and numbers black but ringed by a slight pink-purple glow.]

I've your schedule. I'd advise keeping it somewhere safe- it will change weekly.

[ As soon as she reads the first line, this is her face.

[ A glance up, and there's a distant pause, like she needs that extra moment to get her thoughts in order before she can even form words. ]

Hm? Oh, no...nothing. I just...was thinking of offering my skills in herbalism... This had been mentioned to me before, that Anders used to run this clinic.

[ Tongue in cheek, try not to sound like too much of a brat, Merrill. ]

I'm sure it would irritate him very much for me to assist here.

[ hawke is joining in on that face pulling. ]

[ Can they blame everything on Anders? This is probably his fault, too. ]

[Wow now strangers are giving him dead looks!]

...Still can't remember my name huh?

I-I totally do! I was just testing you!

[No she really doesn't]

( Donny is-- okay he's not good at any of these things, and he sort of expected to be stuck doing this alone, so he waits for a moment when Kaneis isn't super busy and wanders over, resisting the urge to take a lollipop because... those are for patients. )

Thank Kirian. He gave me this task because he felt my charts weren't up to snuff.
