Date & Time: December 1st, evening? Evening!
Location: In a park.
Characters: Fiona and YOU! Or you. Or that other you. :)
Summary: Fiona is taking some time to herself to think some things over, get some fresh air, admire the… scenery? Now would be an AWFUL time for someone to just appear and distract her. Or the best timing ever?
Warnings: Language duhduhduhit’sfiona.
Those Initiative bastards were really something else. Or, actually, they were a kind she had seen more times than she had wished to. Apologizing when tensions were raised high enough to stem some of the anger from the more trusting "transports". Truly, prisoner was the more appropriate word. The thought of it left her scowling at nothing but the trees as she walked around the park.
This could make things complicated. Even she had difficulty judging where to stand at this point. They were fools desperately grasping at nothing but air. The idea that those who came and went from this place was at random was even more disturbing news. Fools with power, perhaps. But how long would it be until the wrong sort came marching into their world and became its own threat against both sides at war? It was a dreadfully sickening thought and one she didn’t need to think of on top of the many other things. The answer then seemed almost obvious, but that was hardly the end of it.
The sun was almost set by the time she found someplace close enough to the center for her not to be bothered, even if her staff was already taking over for lighting the area. It was a bit too cold to simply sit and think things over though. No, it’d be a lot easier, and perhaps warmer to stand and walk some more. The park was at least a decent enough place to do so. And luckily, not so frequently visited by others. Or so she hoped.

"I'm doing it, yes." She responded while raising an eyebrow at the question. It seemed odd to ask. Why devote such an elaborately carved tall, heavy stick for the sole purpose of a light source. And then carry it around in a world where items as small as one's finger could manage the same if not better. It finally occurred to her to ask, "why?"
