"Come on, dude, it's this way." Dave grabs John by the arm and tugs him toward the record store. Inside, the lights are bright and the record covers are all bright and holographic. Dave heads straight for the electronic music section and starts riffling through albums, looking for something familiar.

John just follows along cluelessly, dazzled by the colors and the sounds of the FUTURE. Dave knows his way about this stuff a lot better than he does. John just likes his pretty piano and classic rock. So he follows his lead, flipping through it.

"So, uh," John starts. "Do you really think we will find anything familiar? Isn't it like, a thousand years in the future or something, that is a really long time."

"I dunno, man, some things are forever."

[mesovortice]

"Yeah, I guess. But dude, if there are no McDonalds here? I don't know if your really obscure small-time bands are going to still be kicking around."

John shrugs.

"Well, no, not my bands, but something similar." Dave continues riffling through CDs until he finds something that looks likely.

[mesovortice]

"Oh. Well, go listen to something! There is a headphone thing over there. I am going to go find something I like, instead of your weird hipster shit."

But he doesn't go too far away, just an aisle over.

Dave walks over to the listening station and searches through the menu screen for the album he's holding. He puts on the headphones and nods along to the beat.
