Murphy and YOU - OPEN
Date & Time: February 24 - early evening
Location: Training Hall
Characters: Alex J. Murphy and OPEN
Summary: Murphy has been staying close to home the last few weeks following his return to being human. However, he has decided to head out to the range today and target shoot.
Warnings: None
It had been almost a month since Murphy returned to being human. The memories he brought back with him were heart-wrenching. Though he knew he would emerge as the victor in his world the price would be his humanity. He would lose everything - he would never be human again in his world. He would never know real love or touch again. He would never be able to hold his wife or son again.
The knowledge was soul-crushing and had it not been for the mission that brought him back to being human Murphy would have likely lost his last bit of sanity. So it should have come as no surprise that he spent the majority of his time in his room since the return to the city. However, now he was itching to get out and do something.
So, now he was at the range at the training hall, unpacking his pistol. He lovingly wiped it down and then lined-up the sight. He was about to take a shot when a noise behind him made him side-glance.

It was only then that she realized that the Mud Man was looking in her direction. Oops, Holly thought to herself. She'd probably disturbed him. "Hey," she said, lowering her weapon and rubbing at the back of her head sheepishly with one hand. "Sorry about that. Don't mind me, nothing to see here." Although she hadn't planned on drawing too much attention to herself, it was probably a bit too late for that now, and acting as surly as she felt could possibly escalate the situation. You could never be too sure when it came to humans.
