[Closed] Meeting of the Fail Dads Club

Date & Time: April 1, afternoon
Location: Police HQ
Characters: Kotetsu Kaburagi, Kratos Aurion
Summary: One fail dad runs into a future fail dad and a long overdue chat ensues.

[Another day, another day spent working. Not that Kratos minds working for the Police Force, though. It's a good job and better than just idly sitting around doing nothing. The paperwork, however, is less than fun. A pain in the ass, bluntly put. The never advertised part of the job is all the forms that need to be filled out. Get done with one, ten more pop up in its place. As unenjoyable as this part of the job is, it's mandatory and therefore will get finished in a timely manner. He'd managed it while being an army captain, he can certainly manage it while lacking rank.

Thankfully, Kratos had just gotten this annoying part of the job done. Any and all paperwork for the day had now officially gotten handed into Barnaby so now he's walking through the headquarters and on the way to finally get a start on patrolling. Hmm maybe there's enough time to go get some coffee, too.]

[Unfazed as ever by name corrections, Kotetsu casually folds his hands behind his head and keeps step with Kratos. Apparently he's decided for the both of them that they're sticking together for now.]

Yeah? Guess I'd better go with you. Patrolling alone's no good!

[Except for the fact that people do it all the time, but pssh, details. He has been meaning to talk to Kratos anyway, even if that whole 'aging down that was really aging up' thing goes way over Kotetsu's head. He can't help but feel connected to the situation with Lloyd now, and if father and son need a little nudge in the right direction to keep a few years worth of memories from coming between them, he's more than willing to provide.]

Besides, me and you've got a lot of catching up to do!
