backdated to April 1!

Date & Time: April 1
Location: the marketplace
Characters: Elmer C. Albatross and hopefully lots of you!
Summary: Celebrating April Fools day, classic film style.
Warnings: Fake cream pies to the face, Elmer being Elmer

[There's a commotion down at the marketplace today. Some people are yelling, or laughing, some are running away. As you get closer, there's stuff being thrown all over the place. Is that... pie? Cream pie? Wait, no. Don't eat that. Upon closer inspection, that's actually shaving cream. Elmer's no baker anyway, and that'd be a colossal waste of food! That's no good.

Somehow, he managed to make scores of these fake cream pies, dragged them down to the marketplace area, and started throwing them at folks. Most ran off or cursed him out, but some have gotten into the action, and now the stuff is everywhere. There's a table that still has some left if you want to start whipping projectiles at the crowds, or you can just scoop the stuff from practically anything around you.

And if you're just standing there gawking, you better look out, because a certain smiling blonde will have his sights set on you. Better duck fast!]

Happy April Fools!

OH UH ER nnnno, no, not me! I'm a doctor! Just-- well-- my father was a magician, you know? A very good one, actually! I picked up a couple of things, nothing big though.

[Oh look at that, Elmer, you found the thing that makes him smile for real!]

Yes, as a matter of fact it really does help! Children get especially anxious because they may think their injury is more serious than it actually is, or they may not understand why their treatment hurts too, and of course they feel much more powerless than adults usually do. Cheering them up and taking their minds off the pain often does wonders for their recuperation time!

[Ibin stop being friendly, have you forgotten this man put a pie in your face]

Really! I should definitely find them, I'd love to actually be helpful around here! Fighting is... definitely not for me.

[Whoa, Elmer, that is kinda gross. Ibin's gonna fish out a (regular) bandage and offer it like a handkerchief.] Oh, er, by the way, you've got a little... here, and, uh... there, and... ["Everywhere," Ibin. The word you're trying to convey with awkward hand gestures is "everywhere."]
