Characters: Saber & any/all staff and customers!
Summary: As Saber has self-appointed become an overseer for her Master's cafe, little red has decided to partake in a variety of things to make it prosper.
Warnings: Standard PG-13 due to Seiba the Lewd.

[ So what's Saber's first order of business? By taking customers' orders, of course! After slipping into a getup similar to this (except red and with some modification), she can be seen walking here and there taking orders... though it'll be become quickly obvious that she has no proper idea of what a waitress should actually be like. She points out some customers' choice in food, how they eat, how they should be eating, demands their opinions of the cafe... and the customers might actually be listening or doing what she's saying or hoping for forgiveness.

Must be that Charisma thanks to her cheater skill from Imperial Privilege. Customer or staff memeber, the charisma can be felt! Either that or overwhelming energy from someone only standing 4'9". ]

[ There's a little stage in the cafe! And since stages are practically a catcall for her, Saber is, of course, on the stage. Back in her usual red ballroom dress, Saber twirls and "exercises her vocal chords" by trying out a few tunes... Her singing is so-so, despite her boasting.

Though, Saber's quick to notice she's most likely not getting any applause. Cranking up Imperial Privilege, she belts out new tunes with better proficiency. Yup. ]

[ Taking a break from all that waitressing and singing, Saber can be found at the bar ordering glasses of red wine. Even though Snow has told her that if she entertains other people, stuff would be for free, Saber's still handing down marques for the drinks. Hell, she just might be feeling generous today as she'll give some marques to anyone who happens to come and give a pleasant chat with her. Her Emperor's Prerogative skill has her find random loot around Exsilium that she keeps selling back for extra marques.

Why? Because Nasuverse. ]

[ For those in or outside the cafe, they might be treated to a rare sight on these few days. With drinks and an easy atmosphere, this'll attract some types of customers, and those customers might start to take advantage of things and get a little unruly. Despite standing at a height that doesn't afford her the luxury of looking like a proper adult woman, Saber can be seen tossing out hapless, rude customers back onto the streets with ease. Then subsequently threatening such characters with more violence if they don't leave the premises quickly enough, or... greeting passerby to come into the store for good ol' times with a pleasant smile and wave before walking back in as if nothing else happened.

Cafes need bouncers too, you know. ]

*Pidonus, being a Succubus, is decent at recognizing when someone's got a supernatural power to charm others. After one previously obstinate customer is put in their place, she quietly claps at Saber's show of force, from her table of choice.*

[ Saber flourishes and gesticulates with her hands at the clapping before turning to Pidonus. ]

Though not a stage, I'm sure you were pleased with the brief spectacle.

And what "power" do you speak of? It takes little to sway the masses if one has enough guile of their own.

Not so little when you're getting people to go along with you when you're defying their expectations of what a waitress is, I find.

I've had plenty of experience regarding the common people and how they wish to be addressed. A testament to my own quality of character.

[With the uneasy look of a dedicated designated driver, Coby waited outside of the cafe with his arms crossed. The moment he saw a familiar face fly out of the door from the opened and rather casual look of Saber herself, he blinked a few times and turned bright red.

He was supposed to help his co-worker get home from the cafe in one piece, but it looked as if he ran the risk of leaving in pieces after apparently raising the ire of the Heroic Spirit playing the part of a bouncer.]

...Ah.

[autocratic]

Mmm?

[ After dusting her hands of the scum she currently had to throw out this time, she turns to face Coby. ]

Aha, Coby! Here to take part in the cafe's pleasantries?

Oh--no, I apologize if that was the impression you had of me! [Coby straightened himself and bowed as if he were regarding a superior officer--in some sense, he believed he really had been. He reached down to pick up the semi-conscious drunk under his arms, lifting him up to his feet.]

I'm simply here to return this man to his home. I apologize if he's given you any trouble.

[autocratic]

[ Saber's response is to arch a brow and crinkle her nose in annoyance. She shakes her head. ]

While this cafe runs on easy and carefree spirit, there is still a limit one should cap themselves to prevent them from looking like fools! Once you dump that man in whatever hovel he calls a home, remind him that if he wishes to enter again, he'll have straightened his habits, learn some decorum, then you, Coby, will find your way back here.

[The man was thrown over his shoulder and at that, Coby had been prepared to leave. Saber seemed to be inclined to have him handle the education of that man, though he wasn't sure he could offer anything more than the reminder that a very powerful woman had her eye set on him. Having a dangerous person draw their attention on them seemed like a bad idea--so, Coby could definitely work to remind him.]

I'll be certain to do so. However, what do you mean? Do you need me to do something for you, Miss Saber?

[autocratic]

No more than provide the simple joy of company and a pleasant talk. [ She leers at the man slung over Coby's shoulder for a moment. ]

I assume he brought you here knowing he would become inebriated enough to lose reason, hmm? Another discourtesy on his head to loathe over, but at least he is honest in that respect.

[ Though she says the last part in a casual tone, her expression still hasn't left from an annoyed look. ]

[Technically, Yosuke came there to work. But he's spent most of the day slumped against the bar looking like someone who needs to be cut off and sent home. And that glass in front of him? It's half full of water. But when a cute co-worker sits down for a drink- red wine, he needs to check the stock on most of those- he pulls his head up off his elbows and offers her a grin.]

I hope you're not on the clock right now.

[autocratic]

[ Content with the attention she gained from the waitressing and singing - both positive and negative - Saber looks up from the rim of her glass at Yosuke's grin. She returns with her own smile before letting out a brief chuckle. ]

That depends on the customers themselves - if they wish for another round of exquisite performance, protocol dictates I answer them. [ She swirls her glass before placing it down and regarding Yosuke more closely. ]

Enjoying yourself for the day?

The customer is always right, huh?

[Yosuke chuckles, though at the inquiry he sobers up a bit and looks guilty.]

I was trying to work, I promise. It's just that I caught a bug or something. I don't feel so hot. You don't think Mr. Snow will mind, do you? He seems like a nice guy to me.

[autocratic]

[ At that, Saber suddenly straightens and points a finger at Yosuke. ]

You thought to work when you are ill? Fool! While your dedication to customer service is commendable, did you think you would be of any use to us were you run ragged with your own body at odds with itself? And think of the sickness you could be spreading!

[ Pause. ]

But no, he would not. That man is the sort of person who would dive over a bridge to save someone's pet if he ever heard such distress.

[inthejunk]

[The kid jumps at the initial outburst, knocking his water glass right off the bar and spilling it on the mats behind there. He gazes after it for a moment unhappily-should he go clean that up?- before he turns his attention back to the spirited woman.]

...What?

[He responds, confused and mildly distressed at the response. He's still a little feverish, so he's not making the connections he should be at the moment.]

I mean. Sorry. I uh. Won't do it again?

I'll make sure you don't-- and clean up your mistake! It looks like this errant "bug" of yours has taken a deeper hold of your senses than you thought!

[ Then Saber abruptly picks up her wine glass and downs the rest of her wine before setting the empty glass back on the counter. Then she sifts one hand through her sleeves and produces a rather decent sum of marques from a wallet, and soon she's placing those marques next to her glass and scooting them towards Yosuke. ]

This should be enough to compensate you for your time needed to take proper care of yourself. Come back when you are of sound mind and body, boy!

[ ... Saber relieving him of duty and giving compensation? ]

[Considering a cook rarely gets out of his kitchen during shifts, it took him a while to notice these change of behaviors, and thought it was normal that he's receiving all kinds of orders.

Though, on one time he managed to see the dining area, he's going to wave the Red One over to him.]

...Saber, what are you doing?

[God, it felt so weird saying it to her.]

[autocratic]

[ Before she answers, she hands him some receipts with the newest orders on them. ]

Was it not so obvious? I am catering to the needs of the common people here! They all must feel honored that I am doing such a meager service for them, a lot of their opinions of the cafe has changed for the better!

[Kido is just in a nice pair of dress pants and a button up shirt for her waitress gig. She watches Saber, unsure if she should say something. It's not like she's a job expert here. Still...]

Oi, that isn't what you're supposed to do.

[autocratic]

[ Saber turns sharply towards Kido with an arched brow - the kind that dares her to continue further - after berating another customer for their manner of dress ("Men should be more bold with their clothing! You are no priest!"). ]

And how is it not?

[Kido scratches the back of her head, feeling a little awkward under that stare.]

Well, uh... you know, technically our job is the serve them so you're not really supposed to pick on their mistakes...

In a way, I am still serving them: picking apart their faults will make them conscious enough to make sure they don't happen again!

[ HAH! ]

[She can't entirely argue with that but it still doesn't seem quite right.]

Well... okay it is important to help people better themselves if you can but, uh, there's still the tact issue. You're a pretty blunt person, huh?
