flamberge: (sagacity -- always a teacher)

When in the middle of researching, becoming completely absorbed in the material becomes far too easy. All the details and putting together said details and then using that information for whatever necessary tends to take hold of one's attention entirely, Kratos being little different. Researching time travel and the like has become particularly absorbing. Figuring out how to change the future without making your future kid cease to exist? Pretty important.

Due to said importance, it's little wonder that he pays no attention to the sounds of footsteps outside the apartment (perk, or possibly curse sometimes, of angelic hearing is that you can hear a pin drop a mile away). The knock at the door finally manages to shake him from the book in front of him, but it takes someone calling out to get the realization across that it hadn't been his imagination. The voice isn't a familiar one. Best to check out who this stranger is. It's probably far past time for a break from researching, anyway.

The current page gets bookmarked before the book gets closed. After a quick stretch, Kratos stands and walks out of his room. Upon getting closer to the apartment's door, the unexpected guest comes into view. Yes, definitely not someone familiar. "Can I help you with something?"
