Sure, destroying the infrastructure was important, but after that, you needed to give these people an alternative to just sitting around at home. While most people went around Wollongong causing chaos, Barney Calhoun spent almost the whole of the mission setting up something huge and elaborate, along with recruiting help to set up and to hold of nosy security drones.

As the sun set on the last day, Barney sat down at some kind of control panel and, not even trying to hide the enormous grin of a boy about to do a mammoth practical joke, put on a pair of sunglasses.

"Showtime."

Turns out, most of what he'd been working on was setting up fireworks. Hundreds of them. Brilliantly colored flowers of light, shimmering streamers of stars, rings, fireballs, and others filled the sky above the old park he had been working in. After a few minutes, he judged that he probably had attracted enough attention, and so that was when the music cut in.
