( OPEN LOG | here be giant wolves )

Date & Time: Backdated to the blackout!
Location: Around the city, making his way to the Outlands. Random spots, most of them a little isolated.
Characters: Peter (aka random giant black wolf) and YOU!
Summary: Peter takes advantage of the black out to go around in his wolf form to get some energy and food he needs. This means hunting down critters and eating them raw. Blech. Feel free to run into him and possibly find a friend in a giant black wolf.
Warnings: tba!

He sniffs the ground carefully, head lifting to look up at the sky, try to find stars he can recognize. No such thing; be it the passage of time or the geography has changed their place or simply made constellations unrecognizable. There wasn't much point in using them to guide him anyway - the way to the Outlands and back shouldn't be too hard when he's got several senses to lead the way.

So he makes use of them, padding and occasionally running, always careful not to stir too much attention, good or bad. Wouldn't want anyone using his or her weapon against him just because he gave them an accidental fright, would we...

It's that patient response, neither challenging nor afraid, that catches Isaac's attention. There are other explanations, like a wolf too used to humans to be anything but bold, but in his gut Isaac thinks it's more than just that. The size, for one.

The crazy hope that he won't be alone, even if this isn't wolf like him, for another. So Isaac lets the silence settle for a few moments, and then smiles, careful not to show his teeth.

"You don't smell like one of my kind, but you have the look. Transport?"

He doesn't expect a verbal answer, but he's confident he can read the wolf's body language well enough. The wolf can't be that alien that even that would be so radically different, right?
