[It hasn't been long since Lelouch returned from the mission in Australia. Checking by the hold to see if by chance this place had dragged Nunnally was his first priority before he returned to his apartment. She's the last person he wants to show up here, or so he thinks until he sees a familiar witch. Pretty hard to miss that bright green hair. His lack of luck is pathetic, this is literally the last thing he needs to deal with on top of everyone else here. Something seriously had to be done about the Initiative bringing people here. It was too unpredictable.

He gives the area a quick glance to check for anyone he knows before he approaches C.C. and grabs for her arm. He needs to get her away before anyone can see her or see them together.]

[Well clearly whatever did happen not much had changed. She allows him to tug her along, eventually getting her feet moving to follow after him. She can almost see the cogs of his brain turning. There must be other people from their world here if he's saying things like that.]

Where are we going?

[chessmasters]

To get you a disguise. You stand out too much.

[Once she's keeping up with him on her own, he lets go of her arm. He glances over at her, frowning.]

Suzaku can't see you here. [There's a brief pause before he speaks again.] What's the last thing you remember?

So he's here after all. [She says that more to herself than for him to answer because... well, obviously. But it was as she suspected. She wonders if there's anyone else...

And want kind of question was that? She tosses her head a bit, responding cheekily,]

I died. [Also she doesn't want a disguise. >( She hopes that she at least gets to pick it out.]

He is. He arrived when I did.

[That... Doesn't actually tell him anything about her point on the timeline, considering this is C.C. and she had been "killed" more than once.]

What were the circumstances surround your death?

[If Lelouch gets his way, C.C. won't be getting to pick her own stuff out, since she always picks something flashy that doesn't actually hide her identity at all. Like seriously dressing in lolita come on C.C.]

I would've liked to have seen it. [Heckles raised at each other like a pair of cats, she bets. Or she pictures anyway. Which of course wouldn't have been what had happened. Only Lelouch would've had his heckles up since Suzaku was still in the dark.

She walks leisure at his said, looking around at the new surroundings as they go. She's hardly paying much attention to him.]

The ocean crushed me. I did it to save you so that you could find Nunnally. Did you forget that quickly? [Wow rude it was totally a legit disguise???]

You're ahead of me in terms of events, then. Kallen has filled me in on timeline details that have yet to happen for me.

[Lelouch doesn't extrapolate further yet as he leads her down the alleyway that Kallen had taken him.]

I see... [He doesn't elaborate so she doesn't ask him to... She assumes he will eventually. It makes her a bit wary though. How much did he know... or didn't know. She might be ahead of Kallen. Or know some secrets that were kept from Kellen.

She glances around at the path they're taking. Wow, sketchy, Lelouch.....]

[When their in the privacy of his apartment, he's sure to fill her in on the rest of the details. Or at least enough to give her an idea of what's going on. Of all the people he wants to be well-informed, C.C. is at the top of the list.]

There's a clothing store this way. Kallen brought me to it when I first arrived. They should have something that will keep you from standing out too much.

I see. That was nice of her. [Was it safe to assume Kallen knew the truth of Zero's identity, then? It sounded like it from the fact that she'd take Lelouch to a clothing store first and foremost...]

If their clothes are as poor as their architect I don't want them.

If she hadn't, I would have done so myself.

[He scoffs at her other comment, cutting her an annoyed glance.]

It doesn't matter what they look like. The point is that you need a better disguise.

She scoffs back.]

I'm being forced to wear it. Of course it matters.

[Always completely and totally fabulous! Who doesn't like untucked shirts with sweater vests over the top of them?]

Your idea of a disguise is laughable. You need to be more discreet, it should be easy to understand, even for you.

Your hair alone would ruin our cover. We need to find you a wig as well. And your clothes need to be normal, not flashy.

I guess that's fine. [She's worn wigs and weird clothes for his cause before, after all. It'll be annoying here though. She'll have to wear it every time she goes out which given the information dump she got will be often.]

Will I have to wear it all the time?

If you're around people besides myself and Kallen, yes. I can't afford any contradictions with your appearance. Otherwise, I don't care how you look in the privacy of your own room.

[Once past the alleyway, the shop is across the street on the road they're on.]

[She huffs a little. Wearing a disguise all the time... Oh well. Could be worse.

Also don't you mean "my" room, Lelouch? 'Cause she's living in your room as revenge.]

Do I get a new name too? Maybe I can be your long lost cousin. Amelia Lamperouge... [Harhar. She follows along and once they reach the shop she goes ahead and opens the door herself. It seems small and discreet. Not surprising.]

[He'll have some things to say about those living conditions. B( But in the end he'll inevitably cave to it, if only that he can keep a closer eye on her when she's there.

He cuts her an unimpressed look, following in after her. It's still the dump he remembers it being when Kallen brought him here.]

A new name would beneficial.

[She rolls her eyes and scoffs a little.] I don't want a new name. I'm C.C. [And that's who she'll ever be, thank you very much. No need making up stupid new ones. Stupid human ones.

She pokes through a rack of clothes half heartedly.] These are terrible. Do you wear these?

That wasn't always your name. [But whatever, it's not like Suzaku actually knew her name. Her appearance is the real problem, because there's no way he wouldn't recognize the girl that came from that capsule.]

They'll have to do in this situation. It's pointless to complain.

[She pauses at that... then shakes her head. But she offers no comment and instead pulls a skirt and blouse off the rack. They're so gaudy...]

Fine. [She holds them up against herself.] How do I look?

As long as they don't stand out, I don't care what you wear. Just pick something and make it quick.
