Summary: A small group takes a short expedition into the outlands.

It's later that he'd planned, but the ship crashing into the housing building had thrown off Tintin's plans a bit. The morning of the 13th dawns cold and grey and rainy - not much of a surprise - and finds Tintin and a medium sized terrier, Snowy, at the meeting point he'd sent to the others via private message. He's wearing backpacking gear and for all intents and purposes looks more than ready to spend a few days roughing it despite the foul weather.

He waits near the edge of the hold market, bouncing on the balls of his feet as he scans the area for the rest of the group.

Is that right? [He exclaimed cheerfully to Snowy, nodding here and there to be appropriate.] See! There's always a positive if you look. One can never have too many adventures, after all.

One could say that teehee~ [Sohki pushed himself back up to stand when Peter approached. The kirin was all smiles at the young changeling moments before he moved to latch onto Peter's arm in a form of an affectionate glomp.] Peter-kuuuuun~~! I didn't know that you were coming along with us! How positively wonderful!

[There's a smile ready when he greets Tintin and recognizes Sohki, ready to wave at him when suddenly - oop, that's definitely an arm wrapped around his. Peter still remembers what Sohki really looks like - he wonders if that's a secret he's shared with the young man leading the expedition.]

Sohki - hi-! [he deflates a little, still trying to keep that smile on his lips, despite the surprise. His attention is turned to the dog a moment after, hoping it won't mind picking up the scent of a wolf in Peter's skin.] Hi, Snowy.

[Snowy may not precisely share Sohki or Tintin's idea of fun, but he's at least amenable to it - or seems to be until Peter reaches them. He reacts to the smell by pricking his ears, nose flaring as he gets to his feet and growls a little in Peter's direction.

Tintin quickly nudges him with his foot.]

Snowy! Come now, don't be so rude. I'm so sorry, he's not usually like this.

That's okay! :D wb!

[Discomfort or not, Sohki wasn't one to 'release his prey' until he saw fit. That was how this moment was as he remained latched onto the surprised changeling beside him.]

Oh ho~ it's no worries. It's simply natural for him to do so~ [Sohki chimed in, waving off the apology with a friendly laugh despite the growl being in Peter's direction.

Finally releasing Peter's arm, Sohki 'peered' around with closed eyes.] Are we all who are going on this adventure?

Yeah, that's okay, I - I'm not really a dog person, I guess.

[His hand is rubbing his nape awkwardly by the time Sohki lets go and asks the question. He's wondering the same, actually.]

[Nonetheless, Tintin nudges Snowy a few inches farther back and steps solidly between the dog and Peter. Honestly, he's a bit embarrassed.]

Six of us including Lucy and her friends.

Oh also, before I forget! [Tintin snaps his fingers and shift his pack off one shoulder so he can go digging through one of the side pockets.] I've taken the liberty of packing some medication for us as well; apparently there's some residual chemicals that might start to effect us the longer we stay out there otherwise. Would you rather I carry it, or do you prefer to carry your own doses?

[Lucy? Sohki had yet to meet her and her companions. How exciting!]

How thoughtful! If you wouldn't mind carrying it, that would be wonderful~ [Such a thoughtful human! Even if he doubted that he would need such things.]

[His brows are arched as Tintin offers the medication, nodding vaguely.]

I can carry mine - thanks.

[Sounds good to him. Tintin takes out one of the packets of pills and passes it off to Peter.] They said to make sure it wasn't exposed to anything damp, so I'd recommend keeping it in the packaging. Otherwise... I suppose that's it then. Thank you again for coming along; this'll be much better with a few people for company. Isn't that right, Snowy?

[The terrier still looks largely unimpressed by their company, but nonetheless offers a vague perking of his ears and a small bark.]

Sorry for the delay! This week has been unexpectedly busy!

[Sohki was never above letting someone else do the work for him, especially when it came to such mundane tasks as carrying items.]

Travelling with others is always an adventure~ [The reaction from Snowy had the kirin shaking his head in amusement before he crouched down once again to be on the dog's level.] I haven't met a canine that has been this largely unimpressed by their company since I last saw Genro.

I think that's my fault. [He looks a bit crestfallen. He wouldn't want to be the cause of tension in the party, even if it is from such a small dog.] Must have touched something he doesn't like...

[Tintin waves Peter's concerns off hurriedly.] Oh no, please don't worry about it. Snowy can be a bit fussed around new people; I'm sure he'll settle once we're out and about.

[Nothing much ever bothered the kirin at all, so after seeing to Snowy with a friendly smile, he stood back up and cheerfully regarded the two.]

See nothing to worry about! How wonderful, really!

[His smile is still a little tense, even when he nods at Tintin, turning his attention back to Sohki. He's always so cheerful.]

Right - uhm. Are we still waiting for someone?
