Location: Unit 505
Characters: Anyone who has been in said unit after its reassignment! Obviously consisting primarily of Nanami Momozono + Painwheel + Kanaya Maryam!!
Summary: Three abnormal teenaged girls with varying degrees of cynicism and trauma find themselves living together.
Warnings: There's quite a bit of troublesome content in some of their pasts but very little in the present.

As Kanaya distributed her possessions into her new apartment, she felt a certain degree of pride in how well things were working out. Painwheel, she worried about for being here so long that the downsides got to her; Nanami, not long enough. In this arrangement she could watch over both of them.

There wasn't too much to unpack; she'd put her pile of pillows into her sylladex, God only knew when it would get back out again. After that the bulkiest thing was clothing to put into her personal closet, and her books to place on the shelves. Her makeup and other hygiene products went into the ablution chamber - the bathroom, right, she couldn't inflict her dialect on dear Nanami.

With her own things taken care of, she set to shopping for domestic items next. She didn't eat, but what would the other two girls do without dish soap?

After the whole situation over the spaceship having landed on top of the apartment complex, it would seem that Nanami took the initiative to look for a new apartment to live in. After all, everyone seemed to have began to move around due to the whole situation, so she decided to take advantage of the opportunity too. Hopefully her old roommates were able to find someone they much preferred to live with because she didn't seem to be a good fit with them.

Either way, it was a good thing she was able to move in with someone she did know and trusted. Kanaya was one of the few she was able to hit it off quite well and felt very comfortable with. Well, both Mamoru and Nanami felt comfortable around her, so it was a good thing they were able to make arrangements. Now all she needed to do was move in the very few items she had and meet her other new roommate which she hasn't gotten the chance to talk to just yet.

"There! That should be everything. Good thing I didn't have much to take with me this time around," said Nanami out loud as she began to stretch her arms a bit. Somehow the whole situation felt slightly nostalgic because it wasn't the first time she had left one home to go into another. Thankfully it was a nostalgic feeling than deja vu because she wouldn't know what to do if her relationship with her roommates became as sour as the one she first had with Tomoe. But in the end we were able to form a wonderful friendship, thought Nanami to herself wistfully. Well, sort of, began to giggle Nanami until she heard footsteps passing by her own room.

"Oh...maybe Kanaya and Painwheel-san are finished with unpacking too," said Nanami to herself. Her attention will turn to Mamoru, who was slightly exploring their new room, so she said, "Mamoru-kun, let's go and say hi to our new roommates. Okay?" And without a moment to lose, Mamoru will climb onto his master's shoulder, so they will both leave their room together.

Finding Kanaya passing by, she will smile and walk up to her, "Are you done unpacking, Kanaya-chan?" Then she tilts her head a bit and asks, "Or do you need help with anything?"

Painwheel, actually, was the last one to arrive. She honestly wasn't too sure about this and if it wasn't for the fact that she was supposed to be Kanaya's roommate, she probably wouldn't have bothered showing up in the first place. Still, she didn't bring any of her belongings at all.

This was more of a... test, to see how she felt about it all.

She was actually standing outside the roomi, trying to muster up the courage to actually knock on the door. Then again, knocking seemed kind of silly when it was her room to begin with. Right? And so, she sort of just let herself inside, taking care to make sure she didn't hit the door frame with the giant wheel on her back.

"Um... hello. Is anybody... here?"

"Oh!"

After hearing the greeting from the door, Nanami will turn her attention from her roommate to whoever was by the door. Upon noticing who was by the entrance, Nanami will find herself surprise to find a girl wearing a mask and all types of other items on her. It was unexpected, but her surprise will quickly change to a more friendly smile (maybe a little nervous too). Somehow, the way the other girl spoke, she could not help wonder if she felt nervous around them. A piece of Nanami hoped the other girl won't feel offended by her earlier surprise because she still was getting used to meeting different types of people. A piece of her realized if she wanted to be a great Land God for the Mikage shrine, then she can't get surprise by every new type of demon that crosses her path.

"Yes! There is someone here," responded Nanami as she heads towards the other girl's way, a smile still on her lips. "Good day. Can I help you with anything?" asked Nanami as she began to wonder if she was one of Kanaya's friends wishing to check up on her.

"My name is, uh, Painwheel. I'm... supposed to be staying here from now on." While she had just declared herself as one of the roommates, she still didn't really know who this other girl was supposed to be. "Are you living here too?" Or maybe it was one of Kanaya's friends stopping by to say hi. She... seemed nice enough, at least.

Nanami's smile will remain on her lips until she heard the other girl's answer which will leave her simple watching the other girl a few seconds until it finally sunk in. "Ah! Then you're the third person that is going live with us," responded Nanami with some excitement because it meant she was going to live in a all girl apartment. Just the thought alone made her really happy.

Her attention will quickly turn to her shikigami that was currently in the form of a monkey, "Looks like you'll be the only boy here, Mamoru. How lucky!" Nanami's light tease will go past Mamoru's head as he did not fully understood the meaning behind his master's words. It was clear that he was not against the idea.

Reaching out her hand in greeting to the other, "Welcome! My name is Nanami Momozono and the one next to me is called Mamoru. It looks like we'll be living with you and Kanaya-san for now on." Then she'll quickly add, "I hope we'll all get along here. What's your name, by the way?"

"Mamoru, huh?" The monkey was actually pretty cute, and Painwheel was looking at it quite often. She... never knew anyone with that kind of pet. It was actually kind of neat that she'd be able to see one around so often. But cute pets aside, it seemed that the three (four?) of them would indeed be living together from now on.

She shook the other girl's hand, though was still feeling pretty nervous about it all.

"U-Um... my name is... Painwheel." And there she went, giving out her weird name once again. She could already imagine how confused Nanami would be after hearing that. "Nice to... meet you."

"Mmm! It's nice to meet you as well, Painwheel-san," responded Nanami as she continue to shake her hand. It was clear that Nanami was careful in pronouncing the other girl's name, just in case, she heard it wrong. It's an odd name, but, at least, it is something I can pronounce without any issue, thought Nanami to herself. It would seem there was a lot she will have to get used to, but she was going to learn how to adapt quicker than ever before.

Releasing Painwheel's hand, Nanami will offer her a friendly smile and ask, "Where are you things? Do you need any help? I just got settled a few moments ago. If you need any help getting settled, then I don't mind offering you a hand. Kanaya-chan left a few moments ago, so she should be back soon. We have more than enough time to get to know each other better." And she meant every word of it too. She was currently curious over her new roommate. Maybe she has interesting stories to tell about herself or her world. Either way, Nanami was excited over the new arrangements now. She felt more at home now.

"My things?" Right, there was still the matter of actually moving in. "Oh, I left them back at my old place. I didn't really know if I was actually going to stay here, so thought I'd check out who... I'd be living with, before bringing all that stuff over." To be fair, she didn't really have too much to her name, but it still would've been to bring it all way there.

"But, uh, I guess I'll have to start actually moving in soon." Was her away of actually saying that living with Kanaya and someone like Nanami wasn't going to be so bad after all. "It shouldn't really take me too long. I'm a lot stronger than I look."
