He doesn't have time to shower and make himself a lot more presentable, but he does peel himself off the bed and to the living room so he could wait for the knock he knows would come. And it only takes him a little more than it should to get to the door, cold mask over his face, looking paler than usual with bags starting under his eyes. Obviously sick.

He coughs before he steps back and opens the door wider for Shinji, if he wants to come in.]
