The virus is spreading, and even the Dan is catching it. And so are their friends. This is whatever they decide to do during June while sick. Prose and action spam friendly!

You can't trick the thermometer, you know.

[She thinks...]

Hey, hey, I admitted I was sick, didn't I?

Leader shouldn't worry. I'll take care of myself.

[concealingeyes]

I'll make sure you do. I'm going to make something good for dinner so your body gets some energy and then you can rest.

[duplicitoussight]

Ah, but what about you?

[concealingeyes]

What about me? I'm fine.

[duplicitoussight]

You said you'd let me take your temperature.

[concealingeyes]

Yeah... [But she'll hold out until she absolutely has to give in. And after a beat, she adds:] You didn't really take a shower, so it's fine to make you take your temperature now.

[Look at who is holding up a thermometer as though it's a threat.]

Leader always acts so fussy whenever one of us gets sick. [But he knows he can't lie his way out of this one. He opens his mouth.]

[concealingeyes]

[She sticks it under his tongue, at least being careful about it.] Of course I'm fussy. I have to take care of you.

[duplicitoussight]

[His voice is a little mumbly thanks to the thermometer.] Kido makes for a pretty aggressive and scary caretaker, I think.

[concealingeyes]

[She reaches up and clamps her hand around his mouth with the thermometer sticking out.] Don't talk until it beeps, idiot.

Mmmph mmm! [And yet he still talks. The little brat.]

[concealingeyes]

[It beeps and she pulls it out, glancing down at it. Hm.]

...Bed. I'll make you something in a bit.

[duplicitoussight]

... wait, wait, isn't Leader forgetting something?

[concealingeyes]

[Forgetting on purpose, yes.]

Ah... I didn't forget. [Still she plays with the thermometer instead of doing anything with it.]

[He extends his hand, cheerful.] You wouldn't mind if I took your temperature too, right? It's only fair.

[concealingeyes]

...Fair's fair. [She sighs and shoves it in his hand, then opens her mouth a bit. Fine she's defeated don't embarrass her more over it.]

[Sorry he's still a little brat. But he won't say anything yet, even if he has a smug look. He sticks the thermometer in.]

[Kano you suck. Unlike some idiot, she just folds her arms and tries to use sheer willpower to make the thermometer say she doesn't have a fever because she doesn't, okay. She is fine.]

[duplicitoussight]

[Beep beep. The thermometer has betrayed you. Kano takes it out, looks at it, and waves it like a teacher waving a baton to scold a kid.]

You shouldn't be worrying about me when you have yourself to worry about! It's very hypocritical.

[concealingeyes]

[She sulks, pulling at her hood to hide in it further.]

Oi, it's my job to look after you guys first! I can wait until later.

[duplicitoussight]

[He tugs at the top of her hood.]

And what if Leader collapses? Then the only thing she'll be looking at is the floor.

[concealingeyes]

I'm not that sick...

[But she feels a sense of guilt looking at his face.]

You're not worried already, are you?

[duplicitoussight]

[He shakes his head.] Nope! As long as you take care of yourself there's no reason to, is there?
