They thought that trips to Alaska and getting shots would be the beginning of a relaxing break. Instead they got quarantines and bombs and people getting mad at them. Big. Sigh.

Where have you been living?

I was living in temporary housing for a while, but since someone moved out of their apartment, I got switched to room 601. What about you and everyone else?

[!! That's so close...]

Kido and Kano are in 202. Momo and I are at 502, and Ene decided to crash there, too.

That's pretty close, huh? Actually, I haven't met my roommates yet. [l o l]

Huh? You haven't? Seto, what were you doing all month, really?

Exploring and volunteering! [It's the truth.]

[His smile is so bright he can't]

O-oh, okay. Well, I don't know you all that well but I guess it does sound like something you'll do. Have you been okay?

Yeah, just fine! Even though I've been helping everyone out, I haven't gotten sick yet, y'know? I'm pretty lucky!

How about you, Shintaro-san?

I got sick, and.. [died and came back] I got better. Everyone but Ene also got sick, but thanks to the vaccine everyone's doing better now.

[With a soft sigh, he steps around a crowd and points down an alleyway.] Let's take a shortcut.

That quick? Are you sure you're alright? [Well.... he looks it, at least.]

You lead the way!

It's a long story. I'll tell you later when we're safer. Did you get a vaccine yet?

[While on the move is not a good time to explain to Seto about Exsilium's 24 hour deaths. He nods as he makes sure Seto is following, and when they get through the alleyway they're in a bigger but less crowded street.]

Everyone's at this guy's hose. His name is Asch. He offered us a place to hide in his basement.

Yeah, they made me get one before I volunteered. It's a good thing I did!

[Probably a good choice, honestly.]

That's really nice of him. So the whole Dan's there?

[He nods with a little grimace.] Really. It sucked to be sick, for all of us.

[Turning a corner, he continues]

Right now, everyone's here but Mary.

That sure sounds rough. I'm glad it's all over.

[Shintaro seems like he's been here for a while, but hadn't they just gone to the amusement park back home yesterday? Then that must mean....]

She's not alone at home, right?

Mn, I think she's fine. She probably hasn't even realized we're gone -- rather, we're not gone for her at all. What's the last thing you remember?

So it really does work weirdly. [Everything's beginning to make a bit more sense.] We all went to the amusement park together yesterday.

Kido and Kano, and Momo don't know about that, but Ene does.

Huh.... then how far back do they remember? [He doesn't have much of a choice but to take it in stride.] You're leaving yourself out, y'know!

The terrorists at the mall and taking me back to your place, for those three. Ene and I remember the amusement park. Kido and Kano have been here for a few months longer than us, but despite them coming from... well, I guess you can say "before" us, we never noticed them missing. So Mary probably doesn't know, either.

[Wait, then that means....]

Do you think Momo-san remembers me? [He came back late that day!]

... Huh? When'd you first meet her?

[There's a chance she might not. An even bigger chance that she still remembers your name wrong. How does he break that to him??]

While you were sleeping. [A nicer way of saying "when you were knocked out", really.]

[He appreciates your niceness.]

She... might? It might be worth introducing yourself again though, just in case. For her, it's been more than a month, too.

[He looks uneasy. Why does he have to be the one to break it to poor Seto. Aaah, aaah, what if Seto gets upset??]

It's no big deal! Guess we'll just have to start over, huh?

[HE DOESN'T SEEM TO MIND TOO MUCH.]
