They thought that trips to Alaska and getting shots would be the beginning of a relaxing break. Instead they got quarantines and bombs and people getting mad at them. Big. Sigh.

[He knows he's not the best at being pleasant or sincere--if anything, he can be an outright bully at times. And he still holds a grudge towards Jade, and maybe just a little fear. But if there's one lesson that Kano's actually held onto, it's to leave no good deed alone without thanks of some sort.
