They thought that trips to Alaska and getting shots would be the beginning of a relaxing break. Instead they got quarantines and bombs and people getting mad at them. Big. Sigh.

[In a real fight, it would be been a near-miss, a small scrape - in this case, though, it just splits a few threads on Asch's long sleeved shirt as he spins to counterattack. His blade goes high, and he kicks out low as a counterpoint, leaving Luke not much room to dodge in the middle.

He's kind of enjoying it, really - that's almost a smile.]

[Aw shit. Luke raises his free arm to block that kick. Their blades collide, but there's no strength in his side of the parry and he's sent staggering backwards. Consider that a point.

Luke recovers quickly, however, and sweeps in to try tapping Asch's unguarded side.]

[It's a blow he can't quite parry, one he knows he'd be able to handle if they were using their dominant hands, but that's neither here nor there. A slight rip in his sleeve is a point to Luke.

And then they're back at it again - the great thing about their fighting style is that even though the blade is carried one-handed, the other hand is pretty well involved with a varity of uppercuts and other punches. It's one of those that's coming for Luke now -

Suddenly, having his sword in his off-hand isn't such a bad thing.]

[Luke is thinking something similar. He actually moves to punch Asch at the same time, so both of them ought to be getting a face full of fist.]

[Oh, not this shit again. Stupid isofonic synchronication...

Asch pulls back immediately, rubbing at his jaw with a curse under his breath - it's somehow funny, though, and there's a grin on his face that actually turns into a chuckle, almost a laugh.]

Damn... I can't believe we did that again.

[Luke rubs at the sore spot on the side of his jaw, then stops and stares as he realizes Asch is actually enjoying this.

He looks puzzled... and then he breaks out into a big smile.]

Hey, it got you to laugh!

...Don't be stupid!
