So Eridan is a huge jerk as well as a complete insufferable prick. Not only was the Initiative completely disrespectful and unhelpful, but Sollux made it even worse. And just when Sollux stopped responding, here swam in Eridan to just coax the sleeping bear even more. Equius is teetering on blind rage when he slams Eridan's door into his room, sending it flying into the opposite wall-- Hope you weren't sitting right behind the door, Eridan.

As if he really didn't expect this.

He can taunt Equius all he wants about not taking action, but it'd take a complete moron to genuinely believe the blueblood wouldn't get worked up and do something like this. He knew he would, and it's just...a lot more fun to see him get that worked up. Thankfully, Eridan wasn't in the way of that door once it comes crashing in, and living with Equius for as long as he had...well, you get used to this kind of thing.

Still going to respond flippantly for the hell of it, but naturally he's armed; he might not be so brave otherwise, admittedly. He keeps the wand nearby or on hand at all times just because of how paranoid he is.
