yeah, this is what nature planned. [ closed ]
Date & time: July 1st, a short time after Misha's network post.
Location: Apartment 1008.
Characters: Claudia Donovan, Cross Marian, Misha Hunt.
Summary: Facetwins meet face-to-face with another roommate onlooker. Redheads unite and the world trembles.
Warnings: N/A.
Misha was very wet by now. Very wet and relieved to have located her current housing situation. The height of the floor was total bullshit, and she was determined to fly up from now on but at least she had a general idea for the layout of hallways, having peeked into every floor on her way up the stairs.
Actually, she was wet and exhausted. The Initiative had managed to nab her while she was inside the interspace, which meant she had just put herself there. It was a terribly tiring thing to do, eject oneself from reality, and she couldn't wait to find a bed and let herself rest for a while before digging into all of the information now at her fingertips. This whole war that had been dropped on her lap needed to be finished yesterday.
Key into lock, handle turned and door pushed open, Misha made her way inside. As she dropped her backpack to the ground next to the doorway and began shrugging off her jacket, she called out, "Hello, new roommates! Do I have roommates? Did I get lucky and end up with an empty room?"
While the visor attached to her headphones slid up to rest atop her head and provide a clearer view beyond the still-damp plastic, she heard the tones of the AI inside chip in. Do I not count anymore?
Next came her shoes. If she was supposed to live here, Misha was darn well going to get comfortable first. "You don't take up space, so no. You don't count."

Powers of two vs one!
She moved to face both of them equally once the cork was removed safely, placing her hip against the counter. "So, Claudia," she said. "How long have you been here? Any pearls of wisdom for us utter newbies?"
SEE IT HAPPENED AGAIN /frysquint
He'll raise his eyebrow at Claudia, but not say anything. If she's been here longer than Misha and himself, he would certainly like to hear her thoughts on the place and how she thinks their new "employer" is doing.
/cowers sorry I vanished for a while!
She set the glasses on the counter next to her, looking back and forth between her new roomies, "This place may seem pretty cool sometimes but they always find ways to remind us we're in this war, you know? Like we get sent on missions or whatever to different worlds and times. The UE are pretty tricky, too. Last month they made a lot of us sick with some deadly virus and then bombed the crap out of the city to 'quarantine' it."
She shrugged, looking down at her fingernails, "There are some pretty cool people here, but there are some weirdos, too." She snorted, smirking as her eyes flicked up to look at Misha, "Before you guys I was living with two aliens."
and then I was at work, so no twin super-tagging.
"Now, now, Claudia," Misha said with a teasing finger waggle, "the PC term is foreigner. We're all strange people in a strange land here in Exsilium." It was the best response she could give to the information. Not entirely new, no, but it still sucked to hear about and there wasn't much she could do with it in her immediate future.
