Walt sat at the bar, and calmly and slowly sipped his scotch.

It vaguely reminded him of the last two times he can remember being at one--neither of which he had fond memories from. He had asked Jesse here just as a change of scenery; but also, when he thought back on it, he never did take Jesse up on his offer to get drinks. Why not now? He didn't have much to do around here, anyway.

He eyes the younger one up and down. A year and a half ago, he might have judged this kid to be a good-for-nothing druggie dropout or something along those lines...which he certainly looked like, at least to Walter White, but well...he wasn't as quick to judge anymore.

"How are you doing? Uh...are you allowed to be in here?" he questioned as nonchalantly as he could. He did look young, after all.

That was a good question, honestly. Stanley didn't really know the answer to it though, so he shrugged. He wasn't quite old enough to drop out yet, but he wouldn't be surprised to hear that someone thought he looked the part. He spent as little time at school as possible anyway.

Well. Back when there had been school to go to, that was. Now, he just avoided training whenever possible. But if there happened to be a legal age here it wasn't very well enforced. Or maybe he just looked eighteen. Either way, he wasn't complaining. "Nobody's kicking me out."

Sure enough, the bartender even brought the drink over in the same disinterested way he'd served the rest of the customers. No ID check, no complaint, not even a wink to indicate it was a special treat. Things seemed to work differently here.
