[Open]
Date & Time: 6th August
Location: The training facilities.
Characters: Rudy Wade, Rudy Too & YOU
Summary: In which Rudy is a hazard to himself.
Warnings: Language if nothing else. And honestly, Rudy should come with his own personal warning label anyway.
[Neither Rudy seems to be working too hard at training at the moment. Rudy is in his t-shirt and jeans, leaning on the handle of his sledgehammer and looking annoyed with his other self. Rudy Too is sat off to the side next to a discarded coat that presumably belongs to Rudy. Despite being indoors he's still wearing his own coat.]
Will you please just get over here and do this? You're going to get us into trouble here.
I already did the first half hour. You're the one who wanted to choose that stupid hammer. I told you you should've chosen something else.
And you were wrong. I mean, do you see anyone else around here with a bloody big hammer? [Rudy Too opens his mouth to respond, only to be interrupted by Rudy holding up a finger and continuing.] No. I didn't think so. Because they didn't think of it, and now they regret it.
[Rudy Too looks extremely exasperated at this point. They both do. It's far from the first time they've had this argument.]
It's because they were clever enough to pick something they could use! Look at you. You can't even lift that thing. You have to drag it around with you unless I'm there to help you carry it.
Yeah. Well, I can still swing it. Which means that technically I can still use it. And don't you start in on my aim again. I'm tired of hearing it, and it is getting better.
[Rudy Too huffs what could almost be a laugh.]
What, do you want me to prove it?
You can't prove it. You're useless at it.
Right. That does it. I'm proving it. You stay right there, and look closely. I'm going to prove it.
[It turns out Rudy was right about one thing, at least. He can swing it. Unfortunately, Rudy Too was right about the rest and his control over where's it's going is non-existent. The hammer narrowly avoids Rudy Too's face, and for a moment all either of them can do is stare at each other in horror. It's Rudy Too who breaks the silence first, voice still shaky despite his obvious anger.]
You stupid-- [He cuts himself off, wide eyes flickering to the hammer Rudy's now back to resting on.] You could have killed me.
[It's at this point Rudy cracks up laughing.]
Sorry, dude. Your face-- it's just. Oh, I wish you could see it.

[Rudy Too huffs, looking almost amused.] Well, it's better than all the crap you come out with.

[There's definitely nothing weird about it at all. Rudy Too gives her an unconvincing smile, for once trying to look like he's in agreement with his other self.]

And those people aren't healthy, either.
