OPTION A
[ A slower day, so there isn't much going on. Kirigiri is inside the building, likely organizing daily information that she managed to gather the past few weeks. Meanwhile, Naegi is doing chores outside.
He can be either seen putting up a "HELP WANTED" poster at the agency's wall, or doing the classic street sweeping. They have to keep the place tidy, if they want to look presentable and credible.
At rarer moments, he can be seen crouching down and talking to little strays. If anyone catches that sight, he's feeding cats and dogs with pieces of scrap meat. Maybe they were leftovers from lunch. ]
OPTION B
[ It's busier at the office this time. Whether or not your character is a customer, Naegi can be seen running across the lobby constantly. It's hard, when there's only two active employees right now! He has to be the errand boy all the time...
Sometimes, he'll run straight out the building to fetch an item elsewhere. He's at his usual clumsiness. He may accidentally bump unto someone yet again, but that's always followed up with his quick apology.
Or even worse, your character may witness him getting lost. Whoops, the pressure of scurrying. ... He even forgot his umbrella by accident. ]

A~!!!
[Suddenly, he can see a massive, familiar shape at the head of the cloud, and she is next to him before he has a chance to react. She stops, staring down at him, eyes wild.]
Naegi!
[She grabs him by the shoulders, hard, and gets down on one knee.]
It was true! You are here!!
[The strangled emotion and tenseness in her voice is difficult to fully comprehend. Her grip on his shoulders is not quite hard enough to hurt, but hard enough to keep him from moving.]
no subject
Though, by the time that he lowers his head, the surprise quickly tackles him. His eyes equally tenses and widens, his heart skipping large beats that he could faint. But thankfully, he doesn't this time.
It takes him a moment to react, but when he does, he's definitely agape.]
—O-Oogami-san?
[Although that was said really meekly, his tone is strong and longing. It was the same tone that a person would carry if they haven't seen a friend in years... His eyes quickly turn glossy, then he drops the broom in favor of gripping her tightly.
It's her... She's here. And she's all right!]
no subject
Naegi, are you free?
[That little question seems not to be enough, but... It's all she can find in herself to say. Her collar is still stained with blood, though her headwound is gone, thanks to the kindness of strangers, and magic.]
Are you free?
[She repeats, voice cracking.]
no subject
[It was a question that made him smile, even while those droplets within his eyes started falling. Is he free? ... He nods his head once, then repeats it for her sake.
It was over. They managed to unlock the door to freedom. They don't know what's happening behind that door, but they know it's a step forward. They were able to regain freedom, all thanks to everyone's effort. It's definitely sad that not everyone managed to escape...
But there's no point in dwelling. It would just be an insult to the others. Naegi knows that they'll always be with them, living on within their hearts as they carry this freedom.]
Yes... W-We did it, Oogami-san!
no subject
[Kirigiri then notices a familiar and very welcomed figure. Kanaya had given them the heads up regarding new arrivals, and she figured that there would be more students arriving besides the ones she mentioned. But she's unable to hide her surprise when the person that ended up coming is Sakura Oogami.]
Oogami-san, you've managed to find us.
[Surveying her appearance, Sakura looks okay. But the blood that stains her clothes is worrying. Perhaps she had come from that point in time. Kirigiri's face returns to normal, though her eyes did express a look of concern.]
Are you okay?
no subject
Kirigiri. I am well. I was healed by a stranger.
[She puts a gentle hand to her own lapel, to the blood. She looks from Naegi to Kirigiri.]
I must know. Asahina and the others... Do they still live? Were my actions sufficient?
no subject
... A stranger? Did you manage to get their name?
[He takes a mental note to remember thanking them, he definitely wants to do something to repay that person somehow. Still smiling, that question makes him further happy. Yes, they were more than enough. Because it's Oogami that ultimately shoved them all towards the right direction.
Naegi will let Kirigiri answer that. He can't let Oogami wear such dirtied clothes for the rest of the day, so he takes responsibility upon himself.]
Oh, and I'll be right back! I'll go find clothes for you, Oogami-san.
no subject
Your efforts were not in vain. In fact, it really moved all of us.
[Even someone like Byakuya Togami ended up actively aiding them in the end. Of course, there were still some... complications too. But that was mostly due to the fact that she kept doing everything on her own, causing suspicion to fall onto her..]
You've really helped us out with your actions, and we never got the chance to thank you for that.
[There'd been a lot of in-fighting and accusations being thrown about due to paranoia.
Kirigiri pauses for a moment as her expression softens a little.]
Thank you, Oogami-san.
no subject
[She tries to stop Naegi... Surely there will be no clothes in her size at their home...]
It is all right, Naegi, I will be fine.
[But he's gone. To Kirigiri, she gives a steel-faced look, trying not to let her emotions show.]
So they all still live, then...?
[There's an uncertain tremor in her voice. That no one said directly that they lived has her slightly tense. Were they hiding something from her...? Perhaps... the identity of the mastermind...]
And the mastermind?
sorry, this is late! ;;
He looks a little sheepish as he steps closer, offering the clean piece of clothing. It's big enough to wrap Oogami's somehow, even if the jacket can't be zippered up.]
Sorry... This is all we have right now. I could accompany you with shopping later on!
[A gentleman could at least offer a lady company.]
no subject
[She frowns a little.]
We managed to uncover that person's identity. It was Junko Enoshima the whole entire time. The real Junko Enoshima.
[She'll go on to explain the whole switch-around Mukuro Ikusaba and Junko Enoshima played.]
... That person has also been brought here. From what I gathered, she's been around for quite some time.
[And has even managed to find friends...? Or people she's managed to fool.]
no subject
Thank you Naegi.
[She listens in shock and dismay to the explanation. She does feel just a touch of pride at the fact that she had recognized the differences between the false Junko and her sister, but... It hardly matters in the end, does it? She couldn't stop it just with that... She shook her head.]
To think that Enoshima had such a horrible plan and the means to enact it...
[She clenches a fist, the rage boiling up inside her.]
And now she is here? Attempting to cause more havoc??
no subject
[There's a greater evil here... for sure.]
But we have to be careful, either way... Both Enoshima Junko-san, and our unknown enemy. Kirigiri-san and I have been doing our best to collect more information, but we don't know much yet.
B on 9/2
...
[Naegi forgot his umbrella.
She taps her foot impatiently once she sees this. That boy will definitely catch another fever again...]
no subject
He figured that he could just as easily come back from the next corner or something. But ah, it seems he needed to travel a bit further. He pulls up his hood at least, having the smallest protection from all that water.]
no subject
Naegi-kun.
[Uh oh, it's that serious tone being used right now.
She brandishes out that familiar pink umbrella.]
You forgot this.
no subject
Ah! Ki-Kirigiri-san...
[Of course he doesn't mean to trouble her, but it's sweet at how she came all the way out here just to give him the umbrella. ... Though it's also quite a hit on his ego, because that doesn't seem right at all. He's supposed to be the gentleman!]
S-Sorry! But thank you for coming...
[Maybe a part of him just didn't want to carry around a hideously unmanly umbrella. Though since Kirigiri's already wielding that sharp tone, he better not make her mad. ... So he takes it, and meekly hides underneath.]
no subject
[Who would fetch her coffee then?!]
Have you finished with your errands yet?
no subject
Ahaha... Don't worry. I won't let that happen so easily.
[The second time's the charm. At her latter question, he nods obediently.]
Yes, I should have everything. ... Um, unless you'd like to add something more?
no subject
[Willpower alone can not prevent colds.]
I was going to ask you to get my something else. But now that I'm already outside, I might as well get it on my own.
no subject
[Well, he can't argue with that. Looks like his little optimism approach wouldn't work for this situation... His face flushes briefly, but then he lifts it with quick determination.]
Ah! In that case... I'll come with you!
[Someone's forgetting that they're already drenched— But he can't just let a girl walk around on her own.]
no subject
[But she doesn't outright reject the boy's offer. Instead she silently walks ahead without mentioning where she may be leading him to.]
I will not be held responsible for anymore of your recklessness.
[She's already passed him the umbrella. What more can she do?]
no subject
[Naegi doesn't want Kirigiri to feel responsible in any way, so he more than happily follows despite his current state. He isn't sure where they're going, but he'll be there to follow her orders.]
By the way, I bought something special for today's dinner while I was at it... I'm sure that Oogami-san will like it.
no subject
I have to go pick up the gloves that I commissioned several days ago. They should be done by now.
[She takes out her tablet just to double check the location. It shouldn't be that far away from where they currently are...]
... What are we having for dinner tonight?
no subject
I see... And well, we're having chicken breast. I'm still thinking of how to cook it, but it's certainly something for protein fulfillment.
no subject
[Ah right, she remembers how Oogami liked to drink those protein shakes.
Kirigiri could always count on Naegi to remember details like these when it comes to friends. It's one of the (smaller) reasons why she's come to acknowledge him as one too.]
However you choose to prepare it, Oogami-san would appreciate the thought you've put into it.
no subject
[Oogami's always been like that. She always honors every thought that her friends give... And always returns them a thousand times more. He'll always respect and admire her for such strength, feeling honored that he met such an amazing person.
Rather, people. Most at Hope's Peak after all, are such talented students. Each of them have their own way of shining, and Naegi will forever remember them. His smile could only get fonder.]
I'll do my best. I hope that you'd like it too, Kirigiri-san.
no subject
[Meaning she'll also eat it no matter how it ends up turning out.]
Ah, it should be around here.
[She'll only need a minute to go in, pay for her gloves, and then they could go back to their office. The moment she gets her gloves, she decides to check them out.
They aren't leather, a material she's more used to, but they'll serve their purpose well enough. She'll try them out later on to see how well they would fit.]
no subject
Shopping with Kirigiri. Eating with Kirigiri. Training with Kirigiri. Working with Kirigiri. Living... with Kirigiri. The last thought causes his face to quickly be painted with a red hue, so he shakes it all off before anyone sees.
Catching up with the years lost... It's not so bad.]
no subject
We can go back now.
[A pause.]
... Thanks for accompanying me.
[It wasn't necessary but Naegi had chose to do it anyway.
As always, Kirigiri is walking ahead of him. Her pace is noticeably slower compared to before, as if allowing Naegi to quickly catch up so they could walk side-by-side.]
b!
You look a bit lost there, kid.
no subject
—Ah!
[Found out so easily, though. Naegi could practically hear Kirigiri's words in his head again, about how much of an open book, or foolishly naive his expressions are. But he just smiles, despite everything.]
Ahaha... I-I'm sorry. I should've been more careful.
A
Ah. Are you open for business?
no subject
[Naegi's polite gestures follow after the greeting, he bows a little to properly greet the man. Afterwards, he straightens up and approaches. He nods to the question.]
Yes, we are... Is there something we can do for you?
no subject
I guess I should ask how important a job has to be for you to take it, first of all. I'm sure mine's kind of trivial compared to some you get, but I'm still pretty concerned.
no subject
[He smiles to attempt easing away some of that worry, since he means those words. Kirigiri will definitely feel the same way.]
Um, please do come in and take a seat! I'll prepare some tea, and call Kirigiri-san.
no subject
No job is any less important than the other. If you're willing to trust us with your case, we're more than ready to accept it.
[She waits for Kenjirou to make himself comfortable before taking a seat across from him. Let's talk business.]
no subject
[Sure enough, Kenjirou sits down. He looks a little eager to start talking. Perhaps because he doesn't really have anyone to confide his situation to.]
It's a little embarrassin' to explain, but.. I hadn't seen my daughter in two years, and now that she's around, I... well, I'm a little worried about the kind of company she keeps.
[He waits for a response, or at least a sufficiently long silence, before continuing. Best to lay his predicament on the table right now.]
sorry, this is late! ;;
[Since Kirigiri entered, Naegi could easily dismiss himself for a moment.
And when he does come back, he sets down a tray with a cup of green tea. He was boiling some earlier, so it didn't take long to prepare another cup. It's hot, so one should be careful handling it.
He glances at both, curious of what their case could possibly be.]
no subject
I see.
[This seems like a simple enough case. Kirigiri has done something similar before. But this one didn't seem too hard. Not a bad way to kick off the start of their agency. But simple as it may be, she's more than willing to take on this kind of request. She already said so earlier, but knowing what it is now, perhaps it's also due to the events that has happened back in Hope's Peak.
Kirigiri nods her head, beckoning to continue.]
B! REIMI, PLEASE FORGIVE MY LATENESS.... I totally forgot to respond!
You alright?
[But upon seeing that the person he bumped into was who he was looking for anyway, he smiles brightly and raises a hand in greeting.] Hey, it's Naegi-san! You didn't lose a green shoe this time, did you? [As if it's completely normal, he takes one from his bag and holds it out with one hand.] I found it this morning, so I thought I'd stop by!
you're not late, i am!! sob sob ;n;
[Before Naegi could open his mouth to say sorry, Seto's familiar and friendly voice catches his immediate attention. His face flushes a bit, kind of happy to see the other boy again.]
S-Seto-san! It's been a while...
[Right after the shoe question, Naegi can't help but laugh a bit. Oh, Seto. Is this his permanent impression...]
And no, I thankfully didn't! But I really appreciate the thought.
no subject
But hey, you guys set up a lost and found, right? Can I drop this off here? Someone's gotta be looking for it by now!
