A bit of whimsy
Date & Time: October 5th, Evening
Location: The cafeteria
Characters: OPEN TO ALL
Summary: MOONWALKING!!/The gravity breaks for an hour
Warnings: NONE
[Perhaps the refrigerator cycled at the exact same moment that someone started reheating some of that sorry excuse we have for moon food. Maybe at that exact moment, the power grid strained from bringing another section of the base into life supporting function. Maybe at that exact moment ALL OF THOSE THINGS HAPPENED AT ONCE.
Whatever actually happened, the lights flicker and go dark, leaving only the hallway illumination, and your stomach twists as gravity loses a bit of a grip on you.
You're not FLOATING, but neither are you quite as heavy as you used to be.]
What on Earth?

What on Earth?

[She huffs and settles... eying the plate again. With the source of the glow closer, she still can't find a handle.]
I bet its locked...
no subject
Oh, but now we hit it, right? I can try to knock off the panel?

no subject
bad news, now she's floating away from the wall again]
Oh, I think I did something?
no subject
She gives it an experimental tug before sitting and putting one foot against the wall. Gripping the crumpled panel in both hands, she kicks off the wall and with a wrenching noise, the panel goes free...
And Rosette drifts back a good quarter of the cafeteria.]

Ah... what now?
no subject
I have no idea what any of this does.
no subject
[... um um um, SILVER LINING, GET!]
At least now it will be easier to access when someone comes who knows how to fix it?
no subject
Maybe we should arrange the tables so it will lead them directly to it. I mean, it's dark in here...
no subject
It might take a little longer because we're floating, but I bet we can do it!
