[Perhaps the refrigerator cycled at the exact same moment that someone started reheating some of that sorry excuse we have for moon food. Maybe at that exact moment, the power grid strained from bringing another section of the base into life supporting function. Maybe at that exact moment ALL OF THOSE THINGS HAPPENED AT ONCE.


Whatever actually happened, the lights flicker and go dark, leaving only the hallway illumination, and your stomach twists as gravity loses a bit of a grip on you.

You're not FLOATING, but neither are you quite as heavy as you used to be.]

That'd be nice if we could, but it seems fairly arbitrary.

( that pulls him up short and makes him blink; but loneliness isn't something he's ever been the type to admit to, so he laughs slightly after a second. )

Ah, but it's a good thing! It's always a relief to know someone's gone back where they belong.
