A bit of whimsy
Date & Time: October 5th, Evening
Location: The cafeteria
Characters: OPEN TO ALL
Summary: MOONWALKING!!/The gravity breaks for an hour
Warnings: NONE
[Perhaps the refrigerator cycled at the exact same moment that someone started reheating some of that sorry excuse we have for moon food. Maybe at that exact moment, the power grid strained from bringing another section of the base into life supporting function. Maybe at that exact moment ALL OF THOSE THINGS HAPPENED AT ONCE.
Whatever actually happened, the lights flicker and go dark, leaving only the hallway illumination, and your stomach twists as gravity loses a bit of a grip on you.
You're not FLOATING, but neither are you quite as heavy as you used to be.]
What on Earth?

Oh my, I would never cheat!
[Though he might be on the luckier side of the spectrum.]
no subject
So you claim.

I am not particularly good at lying, as you well know. [He stands up with perfect grace in spite of the broken gravity.] Allow me to bring you some tea and cookies as a consolation price.
[Of course, he lost too, but he wishes to thank Rosette for bringing the card deck. And...he just likes bringing tea and cookies to people.]

Mm! Sguud!

Mister Gilbert and I have been experimenting.
no subject
Don't know him... but maybe I should if he cooks like this too.

[She does, however, eat the next cookie with just as much zeal.]

[He drinks his tea like a good boy. After the incident with Chrono, he has decided to never drink alcohol in public again
unless Miss Harvenheit is with him.]no subject

Well, I had some invaluable help.
[Which is...very new to him. This is not the sort of problem he would have brought to young master. And he cannot imagine Metatron or Michael kindly nursing him back to health. Not in a thousand years.]

IMAGINE WHAT WE COULD ACHIEVE WITH HORSES!

Ahhh, you should have seen Ascot last year! Nostalgia and Morning Sparks, neck and neck at the final turn!

no subject
...Oh no, I am quite certain Nostalgia won the 1887 prize.

...
Sister, are you from the future?!
[Do they have flying chariots? Flying horse races?]
no subject
Yes... I suppose, technically...yes.

Are demons still corrupting clergy in the future?! Good Lord! Is this never going to end?
