Date & Time: July 27, throughout the day
Location: The city streets
Characters: Halibel & YOU
Summary: Halibel brooding and being introspective. Clearly this means someone should talk to her!
Warnings: None expected
Another day inside the cage. When would it end?
Civilian life throughout the city marched on despite the rising number of "transports". At any moment, Halibel could've found herself interacting with someone familiar as well as unwanted. It was only a matter of time, she thought. Could she come face-to-face with a slain Espada? Perhaps the human known as Ichigo? Or what about Aizen himself? Until such a moment came, she would only be concerned with the present and nothing more.
Halibel walked through the streets, taking note of her surroundings and the city inhabitants. She never stayed in one place for too long, preferring to move from location to location after several minutes. It was not the first time she had toured the city. With that in mind, what was there to gain from such repetition?
Perhaps she was simply looking for a distraction. Something that would take her mind and thoughts away from what had become a much more extended displacement, as well as the growing futility of escape.
[ooc: action or prose, take your pick and I'll match it!]

This was...recon. Yeah. Recon. Batman did recon. Creepy men with mustaches and a lifelong subscription to Home and Garden stalked.
Batman.
Such was the mantra that Marco had adopted as he decided to chase after his roommate. Or cell mate. It all depended on how optimistic Marco was feeling about the whole...Initiative situation that day. Truth be told, it wasn't the best situation to find himself in. Especially after the mess Earth had become on his way out.
But that was a moral dilemma for another time. Right now, Marco was going to work on a better second impression. The first time over those communicators...hadn't been the most chivalrous. Though, to be fair, those things probably warranted their own zip code and Marco was only human. The fact that making a better second impression probably shouldn't rely on stalking someone for about a block or two never crossed his mind.
Okay. This was it. Game face.
Marco jogged up to where the woman was walking, "Hey!"

It was... expected of her when dealing with humans in general.
Halibel stopped walking after hearing his voice, finding it curious that he would approach her now. Perhaps he had gotten tired of following her? Still, for this dedication, she would give him some time at the very least.
"What is it?"
[ooc: looks fine to me!]

Marco shrugged, trying to be as nonchalant as possible and avoid the subject of him oggling for about fifty solid seconds. Major new friend faux pas.
"Figured we're stuck together in this, and I haven't had the opportunity to introduce myself." He stuck out a hand for a shake, "Name's Marco. I don't remember if I covered that much our first...introduction."

She observed his hand for a few seconds, before grabbing it with her own.
"Tier Halibel."
:'D Beautiful!
Marco gave it a friendly shake and dropped his. "Nice to meet you. I figure there's no harm in making a few friends in this sort of situation. Plus, y'know, the whole roomies in hell thing."
He paused, giving a helpless shrug of the shoulders, "Uh, know how much a polar bear weighs?"

"I do not know."

He winced, that was bad. Hopefully the charming grin made up for it.

"Allies." She had always stood by the simple idea of strength in numbers. The weak making themselves strong and extending their own life by banding together.
"You would not prefer someone more similar to you?"
